Could be my perception, but if you grew up in a military family and used your father’s Blitz Cloth to polish his brass, you might have to lower your expectations here. It may work fine for light polishing, but didn’t work well for me on some heavily tarnished brass.

Went to military college years ago. We used Blitz clothes every day. Current Blitz clothes are no good. Will not remove tarnish from brass.

Bought this cloth to clean the brass hardware on a crossbody bag. It worked great on the zipper pulls but did nothing for the actual zippers on the bag. Both the zippers and the pulls were tarnished. Maybe the zippers are some other metal although they used to be a shiny brass-looking metal. Four stars!

I attended PMC a military college in Chester Pa. & used BLITZ cloths to polish our Brass. It was great!!!! I was pleased to find they still made this product. It worked great then & was pleased to find it to still be a great product.
