I think these take up more valuable real estate on the side mirrors and provide less near side visibility than the round fish eye mirrors. Rating as 3 stars because they are not engineered as well as I'd hoped.

They do help to see the vehicles around you better. The factory mirrors on the CRV are way too small on both sides of the vehicle. These convex do reduce the chance of missing a vehicle next to you. I bought the largest one I could find. But the factory mirrors are so bad, I would like to have found a larger convex for the suv.

The surface it’s dark and won’t provide safe visibility at night or during overcast conditions. The convex angle is not good enough for blind spot

A great blind spot mirror. This is my second purchase after putting them on my daughter's car. I was intrigued by the single reflective surface (no glass over the reflective surface) which provides less sun reflection. As you can see in the photo how clear the mirror is compared to the clean glass side mirror its attached too. One other feature is this is a "fixed non-movable mirror" which I prefer over those that can be adjusted. The adjustable ones move out of position or break off easily. My preferred mounting location has been at the top near the vehicle.

No good for 5th gen T4R or at least if you're 6ft tall. One side is kind of OK, but another side points in the wrong direction if installed in the same opposite mirror location.Bottom location closer to the drivers door works the best. Tested all possible ways including upside down, all corners, as well swapped left to right.
