On this particular highlighter set, they were all dried up. The pens were fine! I reached out to the company themselves, and they were SO KIND and helpful! They told me they had a bad batch of highlighters go out and they gave me some color options to choose from and sent me a 9 pack of highlighters free, and quick!! I just got the replacement today and they’re perfect! Great colors (I chose the Mint Macaroon edition) and they’re great! Thank you!

Updated Review: I give the Seller 5 Stars.This is the first time after reviewing a product a seller reached out and did so to make it right.The highlighters are an issue and like other reviews most are dried out and do not work. So I appreciate fully the seller reaching out to fix this issue. Thank you again.Product Review: I give 3 Stars.The pen colors are great and write nice. The coordinating highlighters would be great if they worked. The are all dry and do not work, light green and blue being the worst of the bunch. Big bummer. And who wants the hassle of trying to return??? Wish they worked

Have had a little over a year and many of both the pens and highlighters are dried out and if they’re not, they skip and or stop working. Shame. Colours are really cute and texture of the pens are nice!

Update: Seller contacted me and offered refund/replacement. Received replacement today and this set lives up to the great reviews! Beautiful colors, great pens and highlighters. Amazing customer service!————————————————————I love how the pens write; however, the ink lightens when it dries. I wrote on a darker page with the green and when it dried you couldn’t read it at all. Highlighters were all dried out upon receiving them so they could not be used.

The color theme of this pack is as advertised, however this is my second pack received after returning my first order. I returned the first pack because most of the highlighters were dried, and after opening my second one two out of the five are already dried up and unusable. Not sure what the cause of this is but I am not pleased and a bit frustrated that what I looked forward to using is defective before I can even use them.UPDATE: the seller was so friendly and communicated that there was a manufacturer issue as to why the highlighters were dried out. They did issue me a full return and I do hope to purchase from them in the future. The gel pens worked smoothly and had a vibrant color (I ordered the earthy pack). The pens do smudge a bit depending on what texture written on and if the writing didn’t dry entirely.

Pens: the good- the ink for the pens is a matte ink and looks great on colored paper toothe bad- the ball point leaves spotty ink so it looks streakyHighlighters: the good- the colors pretty much match the pens and you can see different color text through the highlighter inkthe bad- half of them seemed like they were dried out at first, I left them upright with the tip down and it helped with some of them. They also seem to just be dry in general. They seem like old highlighters right out of the package. They do make a bit of a dry scraping sound at times when you use them if that sort of thing bothers you.Overall the set is great but definitely has some improvements to be made if you're really going to use them. They really excited me when I found them because I like using a different color for different tasks/subjects/etc. When they didn't work well I got bummed out about it. I definitely use them, but I just wish they worked well right out of the box and saved thie issues for at least a few weeks of use.

Edit....I am currently working with the company to resolve the issue. Apparently, there was a problem with manufacturing and that's what has created the dried-out highlighters. So far, they have been very good to work with and have a replacement on the way. They did let me know upfront that there is a possibility this set might have the same problem but seem very dedicated to making this right. I will keep updating this review as I go through this process.I have been eyeing these highlighters and pens for a while now. They have been on my wish list for a very long time. I saw them on sale as an early prime deal for prime day and they were just delivered to less than 15 minutes ago. I was so excited to open them and get started using them for my bible study and ministry class work. Needless to say, I was EXTREMELY disappointed when I went to test them out and found out that 3 of the highlighters don't work at all. There is no ink coming from them. So, out of 5 highlighters, I have only 2 that will work. I really wanted these to work because I love the colors and I really like supporting smaller brands and companies, but I guess I will just stick with the Mildliner highlighters that I usually buy.I DO NOT RECCOMEND them in any way.

Edit to add: The company has reached out to me and explained they are experiencing recent manufacturing errors. They cared about my experience and offered a resolution. I intend to give their company another try after waiting a while for manufacturing changes to be made. For their customer service I'm changing my review from 2 to 4 stars. It's rare a company cares about the experiences of consumers. I'll leave my original review below for transparency.Just, buy Mr. Pen products instead, they have much higher standards than this, and I regret buying these to try out after buying Mr. Pen. They're essentially the same price but quality is night and day.The BLieve pens are nice, but I'm worried they'll leak because of excessive beading of ink on the tips. The BLieve highlighters ARE NOT Bible friendly, or hand friendly for that matter. The casing is sharp and hurts your hands when removing the cap. I tested these on a back page of my bible, some colors DO BLEED. Seems like the darker the pigment the worse it is. Also you can't even see the teal unless you run it over like 5 times. The tips are stiff, extremely rough, and don't glide smoothly along the page. They scratched the page with little pressure and left streaks where there was no contact made with paper. If you go over again you cause more bleeding and damage the page worse. These are strictly study highlighters and pens only now.

When I opened the package. highlighters worked but the pens did not. I tried contacting the seller to ask for just half the credit as I didn’t want to be bothered returning them but I did t get a response . I sent an email but their domain isn’t properly registered at their registrar. I’m Lea ing this in the review so perhaps they will see this and fix it.I started a return but in the meantime I looked at them again. I’d noticed that all the tips were red. I must have pressed harder that time as I got a mark. 🤗 So seems they have this red stuff on the tips to keep them from drying out. Awesome idea! It would have helped to have this bit of info in the description. They’re actually very nice.Well they were nice… none of the ones work now…they’ll make a scratch then quit. And the highlighters don’t work well either. I’m including a picture.
