I ordered size 6-7 for my 7 year old daughter and the size is perfect. If you're looking for something to hold to long term I would suggest going a size up if they are between sizes. The material is super soft, the color is great and after a few washes the material has held up great.

Super cute! My daughter loves this outfit! She likes the top with other things as well! It has a really cute, fashionable oversized fit, and extremely comfortable. The material is also light and breathable. It’s been laundered too many times to count and the material has retained its softness and nice texture. It’s a staple piece and perfect for any wardrobe. We selected these to use for a little girl's pj's. Fiber content listed at only about 1/3 cotton, but that is better than most. They should last for a season.

The material is thin and somewhat see-through. The shorts don’t have an inner lining, and the leg openings are quite wide.
