This wax was a perfect product for making my mini bottles of champagne glamorous! I added glitter to the wax before I cooled it off, adding a special flare. I recommend doing this outside because the wax can be smelly. I would also use a smaller can to melt the wax in so that you can get the bottle more into the wax. I end up using an empty soup can to melt the wax in.

So easy to use. Worked perfectly for sealing my homemade vanilla. Thick enough so you only need to dip it once. No smell really

It's a little more transparent than I would like but it is a beautiful sparkly orange. Needed to dip twice to get full color coverage.

I’ve purchased 7-8 different colors of wax over the years. They have all looked good except for the most recent one I got which was COPPER. When the wax was hot and freshly dipped it looked beautiful. Once it dried it became Dull and lifeless. I threw it away and ordered Bronze, hoping for better results.I heat the whole pound of wax in a metal can. One thing to note is don’t crank your burner and then stir the wax. There’s a little pieces of burnt wax that will be floating around and end up on the bottles. That has happened a few times and infuriates me.The wax itself is easy to put on, drips nicely and it’s not too hard to get off when opening a bottle later.

These blended waxes work well with bottle dipping if the right temperature is adjusted properly for each color and dipping method. Unfortunately, temperature and dipping time is different for each color. I think it's due to the composition of each wax color. User must test and play around each color to find his or her right balance between color and richness including cooling time. Here are my results:1) Black Gloss - Slightly glossy and true black color2) Gloss Bright Red - Slightly glossy and true red color3) Lime Green - Has slight metal iridescent particles (nice touch) and sometimes very slight translucent if temperature/cooling time is not right4) Purple - Has a slight muted dull purple color (no shine)5) Gold - Nice vintage color with slight sheen (reminds me of old gold if that makes sense)6) Copper - My favorite (nice color and slight sheen). Similar to rose gold7) Goldenrod - More like a yellowish orange with gold hue (slight sheen)8) Silver - Very nice true silver (most sheen due to metallic particles)I love the bead format since you can control on how much you want to melt with each color batch (very handy) and reasonably priced. This is a must buy for bottle dipping. The only issue I have is that some colors are hard to choose based on pictures. I wish all colors came with bright gloss, and more variety of colors but keep it simple (black, red, blue, pink, green, darker yellow, orange, brown, gold, silver, etc).In any case, these beaded format blended waxes are a must buy.

The pros are that it works great and once wax is melted it’s pretty easy to do. Cons are that it’s kind of hard to melt the wax. I set up a similar system to their suggested instructions. I boiled water and placed the wax in another container in the water bath. It took a while to melt and I don’t think it ever reached the temperature they suggested…200F something but it eventually melted. Gold color looked great and had nice reflective swirls in it. Also when I messed up, I just ripped the wax off the bottles and tossed it back into the boiling pot to remelt.
