The only reason I didn't give these 5 stars is because they don't come with the clip to change which hole you want to use on the retrieve. Tying them directly on severely impede their vibration which is the whole point of a blade bait.

Great lure caught some tasty striped bass . Probrobly will change out trebles not a big deal considering price for lures

My son wants to go fishing again, so I've been trying to put together a few items here and there for his box since we moved and somehow lost all the fishing gear. Although the lures are packaged in a plastic case, he took them out and put them in the tackle box.He can't wait to take them fishing and see how well they work. Despite being an unknown brand, they appear to be of good quality. Fortunately, we like the ocean more than the lake as these are designed to be used in saltwater. They are reasonably priced, which is a major bonus in my opinion, and he is very happy with them. When going fishing, using artificial bait can save a lot of money.

I've found that the silver and gray/silver coloring works best in my local fishery (Lake Erie/Niagara River). Blades are ideal in 10-40 ft of water in areas with sand/gravel bottoms. Avoid using blades in weed beds as you'll end up pulling weeds with the treble hooks.Caught a trophy 33 inch, 11.5 lb Walleye on the silver 20g blade during the late Spring. The action on these blades is pretty good. You'll feel fast vibration when vertically jigging these blades. Most effective when vertically jigging off the bottom, or with a slow retrieve against the current. For Walleye, these blades are even more effective if you color in a red dot near where the gill area would be - use a Sharpie permanent marker. You'll be surprised at how much more hook-ups you'll get with a red dot colored in on each side of these blades. Great price considering 5 cost the same as 1, so not the end of the world if you snag up and lose one. Definitely recommend.

A gift for my son. He tried them out already. The packing was good, it comes in a small plastic box that the lid snaps to open and close, it also prevents the lid from opening accidentally. He liked the lures and said they were easy to use and he will definitely use them next time he goes fishing. Made a good gift.

Package came with wrong color blade bait . Over all work good, but used them only ones . It is came with 2 different blade style , 5 hall blade work the best in 3 middle halls and able to retrieve on back hall @ slow speed in shallow water . 4 hall blade front hall not much use.

Great lure. First outing we caught 6 fish with these. The action is good, they seem to hold up well, and actually catch fish. We caught largemouth bass, white bass, and even a channel catfish on them. This was after a rain and cold front, which usually makes for tough fishing conditions. The hooks do occasionally get tangled on the top of it, but not so much that it's really a deal breaker, especially when you can buy 5 of these for less than what 2 of the Cordell brand cost. I am very pleased!! We had a great day of fishing and can't wait to use them again. Might be my new go to bait!
