I used this to lift my floor standing belt sander off of my truck with pallet forks from above. Although it easily held the weight I did also use a second set of straps tightened up as a backup.

This very heavy duty choker sling is everything they promised. Although my ambulance camper has 4WD, there may still be places in mud, snow, or unseen holes where I could get stuck in the middle of nowhere. This heavy-duty choker is a space-conscious tool for self-rescue, or even rescue of other vehicles if necessary. I also love the luminescent lavender color because it stands out and is easy to find in a dark box or cabinet filled with black tools and supplies.
