This worked well for repairing a black rubber seal in a patio door frame. The syringe applicator was excellent for cleanly applying the uncured viscoelastic black monomer in the gap area/volume of a torn rubber seal, and the material bonded to the preexisting rubber and reame well and cured to become a solid high modulus strong rubbery material, without any noticeable shrinkage.The product page is confusing in that it variously describes this product as "polyurethane" and/or "rtv silicone". Based on its properties and my experience with both silicones and and polyurethane, this seems to be silicone. There was no odor of HCl or acetic acid during the cure (after 24hr it was completely cured, as stated on the packaging).
