Really cool product. Fits on finger securely and its significant weight makes for smooth, buzz-free playing. Curious to see how long the plastic spring arm holds its tension, but new it works well. However, both on their Amazon listing and their webpage, Black Mountain Picks acts as if the product's actual size is a company secret. The small is easily the size of most other medium slides and I can't imagine how huge the x-large must be. This one ordering inconvenience could easily be fixed today by the company sharing the actual sizes of the products. Several reviews mention the buyer needing to be sure of the size before ordering and that is 100% true. Based on the reviews I ordered a small, hoping it would fit my pinky primarily and my ring finger in a pinch, and fortunately it does. But if I'd ordered the regular, I'd definitely have needed to exchange it. We've been spoiled by Amazon to a large extent, but even accounting for that shipping was relatively slow by today's standards.

This has made slide much easier. The design works well and it frees up fingers from having to constantly grip the slide. Love it!

Very nice heavy weight, and a nice grip with the little spring-arm. I accidentally ordered the 'regular' size, and it's much larger than expected. The small is more akin to what I expected. They both weigh the same, so they sound similar. Seller is kind to mistakes and graciously on replacement, gifted one of their finger picks which fits very well and also plays nicely.

I loved the thumb picks and decided to use the ring slide. Loves that so I decided to try the full size slide. I’m new to slide playing, but I’m really liking this slide. Fits perfect and is comfortable on my finger. I was using a Dunlop moonshine slide before and it was too big. %100 recommend!

I love this Black Mountain slide! The spring inside the slide keeps it secure on my pinky finger and the nickel is not only really smooth but has a great tone. Highly recommended!!!

Love the thumb picks from BM, so enthusiastically ordered their new slide. Unfortunately, at this price + shipping, I'm disappointed. Sizing is the main issue. The 'Regular' which I expected to equate to a Dunlop medium is a large. I tried playing to get familiar with the feel of the self-adjusting spring, but my finger just flopped around so I added a moleskin padded strip. This addition helped a lot BUT defeats the purpose of the spring adjustment... The good news is that the weight is great. This slide is a HEAVY beast and eliminates most clang and buzz. Just be really careful with the size. BM could be more explicit in how to measure your finger circumference to select the correct size slide.
