My Dad replaced his broken suitcase wheel with these, works great! Great value for the money

Great way to increase the already top notch quality of a Briggs and Riley two-wheel bag. I used these wheels in addition to two 5/8" stainless steel washers (to reduce the lateral play) and the bag is rolling beautifully. You won't regret it. B&R stock wheels have an inner diameter of 8mm so don't be suckered by wheels of near exact dimensions, but with a 6mm wide hole for the axle.

It's hard to replace the wheels to start with, which isn't the wheel's fault. Once in, brand new wheels don't roll well, too thick. I'm hoping a little use will wear them down and they will roll better.

If you tighten the screw, the wheel stops rolling properly, which defeats its purpose. This design flaw makes it frustrating to use. Disappointed with the lack of functionality.

I had to drill out the axle holes slightly in the suitcase frame to fit the new axles. Then the new wheels and axels installed easily and have worked well for several trips.

Came with excellent parts for installation. Made my old bag new again.

I bought two of these for my suitcase. The factory wheels are a slightly different size than most other roller suitcases out there. These wheels fit and they're a lot quieter than the factory wheels (which could be a disadvantage when coming up behind slow walkers in the airport... auuughhhh move to the right, people!!). I did need to use a couple thin washers to get them to fit snugly though- they're slightly narrower than the openings for my wheels, but no big deal. These wheels come with several tiny metal washers and an allen key.Would definitely recommend. They have been transformative to my luggage experience, lol.(edit/followup: first set of wheels wore out at exactly one year old. I need to qualify that- I walk A LOT more than the typical customer putting these wheels on a suitcase. I'm an airline pilot, I park at the far corner of the lot to get in more steps, I don't take the airport train, etc., so these wheels probably rolled hundreds of miles in just a year. Would still definitely recommend. I had a spare set, I just put those in, and I'll order another spare shortly.)

Got these to replace luggage wheels, but the bearings were in backward from picture. Just take a screw driver into the bearing hole and lever them out, flip around, and re-install. Fit perfect!
