I bought these mostly for the screw caps, so I didn't use any of the other hardware that came with it. However I noticed that the screws included do not fit my 2005 Toyota MR2. Bummer, I would have liked to replace those rusty old screws with these stainless ones. But no biggie.It's been on the car, both front and back plates for a month or so. No issues.

This set of two is probably the nicest set of license plate frames I have come across. Best of all is it comes with nuts, washers, snap in plugs for the mounting holes on the bumper, and about every other piece of hardware you might need for your application. This is big and eliminates a lot of hassle trying to find the right hardware.Edit: If you have a vintage steel plate that is a slightly different size than a modern plate you must be extremely careful when mounting because the back side of this plate frame is rough enough that it will scratch the old paint and easily scuff it off. Learned the hard way. My plate is still OK, but it is no longer in near-mint condition.

The frames are very good stainless steel. The screws are plated NOT stainless. The plastic caps will probably come off or get ruined in a car wash. The aluminum valve caps are too long and includes a warning that they will react with the brass of your valve stems. I bought stainless screws at Lowe’s. I kept the frames and threw the rest of the stuff away. If I could do it over I would buy just SS frames.
