The bolts that hold the bracket to the hood did not fit my 1981 CJ7. The bolts with this kit are metric and the nuts built into my hood are standard. I love the bracket but had to order additional bolts if you have an older Jeep. I also ordered some star knob nuts for the top instead of using the wing nuts that come in this kit.

Looks and works great. However, as simple as this is, I'm bummed about a few key items. 1) there were 2 sets of bolts to mount to the hood - one set was wrong size, second set was wrong thread. Using short factory bolts for now until I can get new ones from the hardware store. 2) the wing nuts are really wide, and for some jacks like mine that is an issue as you can't wide one of them down all the way as it's hitting the rail. No instructions provided if you're wondering, so use common sense how to mount and which bracket goes on which side.
