The shape and holes matched my old hinges. Installing these new hinges fixed a door alignment issue with an exterior door.

I have a 36" door with hinges that squeak. The hinges are 4" so I picked these up to replace the old ones. The hinges come with a full set of screws for a new installation. I needed to turn the pins around to match the existing hinges and all I had to do was tap on the bottom of the pin with a nail and hammer.Unfortunately, when I removed one of the old hinges and set the new one in its place, the holes in the new hinge didn't line up with the holes in the door or the frame. Instead of trying to make the new hinge work I re-installed the old one.FYI, the pins are lubricated (as stated in the description) but they are smaller in diameter than the one on the door. (See last photo.)So, if you need hinges for a new door, I think these will work fine, but if you're replacing existing hinges, they may or may not work.

We decided to update all of our door fixtures and replaced all hinges and door knobs with brushed nickel finish from antique brass. This item met our needs and the build and finish is excellent quality. We love our updated look!

Purchased a batch of these in black for interior and exterior doors to switch from the 10 year old builder grade nickel hinges. They look fantastic and really provides an upgraded look. The pic is of the standard 3 screw interior hinge, but our front door looks the same as the pic here, just with 4 screws vs 3. Otherwise, seems like the 5/8 are pretty standard and worked perfectly in our situation. Took a guess and it paid off. Time will tell if they hold up as far as the color remaining intact and any residual noises. But for now it's not squeaky and opens/closes as it should. Note the orientation and don't make my mistake of installing backwards or upside down. Made that exact mistake on the first 2. 🙄 Smoothe sailing after those 2 errors. Just buy them. I'm slowly but surely changing them out as time permits. One at a time and I finished the downstairs already and will have upstairs done over the next few days.I also suggest investing in an electric screwdriver. It makes the install a breeze. Skil makes an amazing little handheld rechargeable screwdriver....I use that thing all the time. Go get em 👍

These brushed nickel hinges were a direct replacement for the old tarnished brass hinge on my entry door. I unscrewed the old hinges and replaced with the new; a half-hour job. They fit perfectly and the door swings nice and easy. They even came with all the screws necessary for the job.

My patio door squeaks like the horror movie. The squeaking was so loud that can be a deterrent to burglars. It wakes everybody up if I let my dogs go out in the middle of the night. I replaced them with these door hinges and no more squeaking. The size is the same. Very easy to swap them out.
