Holds onto the rope carabineer very well, lightweight and not bulky. Great alternative to buying new draws since most of my carabineers passed inspection. Check yours out first so you don't end up with an extra pack of these like I did.Very tight, but can be worked on to the carabineer over the gate. I have wire gates on the rope end, and it may be a struggle with solid gates (see other review).

Needed to refresh my draws and since I have mostly BD carabiners, I went with these. When they fit, these are awesome, they are super light and unbelievably thin, and the rubber retainer holds very well. However, these do not fit many older BD and other brand carabiners, non-wire gate ones particularly do not work with these. The rubber retaining insert is simply too tight for the thicker gate and no chance to get around the back of the carabiner. I even tried water and hand soap, and couldn't get them on.They work great on most BD wire gates, but I couldn't get them on some older wire gates and really any solid gates at all including BD brand ones.
