You know how a kids playhouses have miniature versions of normal things. Well this was like that. It as long as it’s supposed to be but like super tiny. Like half inch diameter rod and as well as the end ball cap thing is so tiny lol

The color is accurate, looks good, easy to install, used different hardware than what is included, not as sturdy as I would like but works.

First of all, these aren't typical curtain rods with one long outer tube and one long inner tube that can be adjusted in or out to achieve the desired length, and then twisted to lock in place once you achieve said length... it arrives as a bunch of short little tubes that you have to twist all together to roughly your desired length, and then you add two equally short inner tubes to each end to make the resulting rod adjustable.This is a terrible system for a variety of reasons: The first and most obvious of which, at least to me, was that this means you do not actually receive two curtain rods that extend up to 88" -- you receive a bunch of little pieces that supposedly *assemble* into two curtain rods... but if you, like me, need both those rods to be at or near the full 88" each, then you'll be very irritated to discover that there are nowhere near enough pieces to actually accomplish this. You can have ONE rod at that length, plus some extra pieces that don't even fit together so you can at least make a second SHORT curtain rod, because the remaining pieces are of the wrong type and therefore won't screw together properly... or you can do two rods that are both of a shorter length, but if you were expecting there to be enough for two rods at the MAXIMUM length because the product is advertised to imply that would be the case... then you will be deeply disappointed.Secondly, after screwing together the required number and combination of mini rods to create at least ONE 88" rod, the resulting megarod was not even straight. Double checked the connections to make sure everything was screwed in properly, but it was not anything I did wrong -- the slight curve in the completed structure was clearly a flaw in the actual product itself. Great.Thirdly: The resulting curtain rod is also incredibly flimsy, especially at each end where the thinner, inner adjustable rods extend out. The product is much thinner than the photos make it look to begin with -- and I primarily buy things like this based on how they look in the photos, because I'm terrible at being able to accurately picture how wide a 5/8th" tube should look in my head -- even if I whip out a measuring tape to confirm how wide that is, somehow I still wind up severely under or overestimating how wide the thing actually turns out to be when I finally get to see it in person. So while I am well aware that product images can often be a bit misleading, or hard to properly judge from due to lack of visual clues that help to show the true scale of an item or whatever... I do expect the images to at least MORE OR LESS accurately depict an item as it is in real life... and these product images depict a curtain rod that is MUCH more thick and sturdy than what you actually wind up getting. The real thing would be upsettingly flimsy even if it WERE in fact one single, solid tube, but is made even more so by the fact that that's not the case. ESPECIALLY at a full 88" in length... a rod this thin would be fine for a small window with lightweight curtains, but one promised to be effective up to 9' feet long should most DEFINITELY be much wider and stronger than this wobbly crooked thing. And that's BEFORE you even pull out the inner tubes at the end to adjust the length -- those just make the whole contraption even MORE thin and flimsy and saggy! Also, they don't even lock into place -- there's no way to secure them once you have the length you want, they just keep slip-sliding all over the place to ensure maximum frustration as you work.And lastly, the whole thing seems to be straight-up missing a few pieces. There aren't even enough of the threaded connector bits included that I'd even be able to screw everything together in the first place even if I DID want to just make two shorter curtain rods instead.All around this is just deeply disappointing and infuriating product, and I'm mad that now I'm gonna have to go through all the effort of returning it (which is NOT an easy feat where I live), waiting on a refund, finding a *different* set of curtain rods to order instead, and then waiting for THOSE to arrive as well... before I'll finally be able to install my curtains now.
