This is my 2nd time buying this product because it works so well. My little dog is house trained but on occasion she will pee or poop on my carpet (mostly because she is mad at me for leaving her!)This foam takes the stain and smell out. Just squeeze the foam onto the stain and do circular motions with the brush found on top of the can. Blot with paper towel and voila!!

Great product and easy to use on carpet. You will also need a sponge to get wet and “mop” up the foam after you’ve scrubbed out the mess.

I bought 2 cannisters neither work as the operating button doesn't move down and release the foam. Yours is the left one with a thin button. The right one is my original cannister with a larger button which works. Please replace or refund. Thnx

This is an incredible product and I will always have at least one can on hand. It has cleaned up the most disgusting things my cats feel compelled to occasionally barf up on my light colored furniture. While it's true the fabrics on my sofa and covered living room chair are good fabrics for any kind of messes, including pet messes, I attribute Bissell to making a product that really does an amazing cleaning job. Love, Love, Love . . . Thank you, Bissell!!

I have used this many times before. Perfect for spot cleaning or pet stains. Easy to use and the scrub head works well for working the foam cleaner into the carpet. It smells clean as well.

This product is awesome, I wish I took before/after pictures but I was just so anxious to get the stains out when it arrived I didn’t think to. I have two 1yo cats and over the weekend one of them had some issue in his belly. For a little over 24 hours every time we walked into a room there would be a new vomit or diarrhea stain from whichever cat it was who wasn’t feeling well. (We couldn’t figure out who we just kept finding the accidents but never saw either of them actually getting sick). Between my sun room, stairs, and upstairs hallway; the areas that are carpeted, there was at least 6 stains that we cleaned with just Lysol sanitizer and a rag, but the stain and smell still remained on the very light carpet. This stuff came in today and literally I was able to just erase every stain and the smell is gone. I feel very happy, the lingering mess everywhere and with my kids running around was making me extremely anxious and this stuff just made it disappear.

I’d say this works decently for cleaning up dog poop or vomit, but quite frankly, it is terrible for cleaning up dog urine. I wouldn’t even try it on cat urine. On a fresh dog urine stain, it cleans the surface stain and gets rid of enough odor that you won’t smell it when walking around, but it doesn’t truly eliminate the smell or prevent re-soiling.We are fostering a dog rescued from a puppy mill and as she lived the first 7 years of her life caged in the horrid mill conditions (if you aren’t aware that puppy mills are different from breeders, do a little googling and educate your friends), she’s not potty trained. In potty training a 7 year old dog, we’ve cleaned up our fair share of accidents on the living room carpet. It wasn’t until doing yoga in the living room one day that I noticed this awful smell. When I was standing, I didn’t notice it, but the closer to the floor I got, the stronger the smell. It didn’t take long for me to realize it was dog urine. So I start crawling around with a paper towel waiting to hit a wet spot I missed, but to my surprise, no wet spot. It turns out the smell was coming from all the spots I thought were clean, but truly were only clean on the surface. If I can smell them a few feet away, lord knows a dog can still smell them, which makes sense now why our living room carpet became such a target for accidents. We ended up having to replace the carpet downstairs because there were so many accidents that were too far gone because they were weeks old. We found Natures Miracle Urine Destroyer to use upstairs and that stuff truly works. This is nice because it’s a scrubbing brush and cleaning solution in one and I will continue to use it when my dog randomly throws up on the carpet, but DO NOT use this on pet urine. It will make it harder for natures miracle products to work.

I have light, beige carpet and 2 elder cats. The ginger should have been named Caligula because he throws up his food occasionally. The vet has checked him over and it's just a quirk of his. He eats too fast and then it comes back up. He'll go to the dish to eat again and everything is fine. Yeah, I know... But he's adorable and as long as I have this Bissell cleaner I'm a happy cat-mom. This stuff works! It has a nice smell and has even brought up old stains from things I didn't know about till well after they occurred. Usually the older stains I need to use a couple of applications. The first one I'll leave sit for about 15 minutes or longer (usually because I forgot about it). I clear that one up and apply again to leave for another 5 or 10 minutes. It comes right up! The ginger, of course, can't puke on the ceramic tile kitchen or laminate. Only on the light, beige carpet. The Bissell comes to the rescue and all is good!
