These are far more effective than the plastic ones. A bit tedious to assemble, but if you do that while listening to an audiobook, it's not too bad. Unobtrusive and durable, I've had them up for several years and they last.

I was surprised by the quality, especially for the price. Be prepared to spend at least two hours putting the spikes into the frames and wear safety glasses as the spikes are very stiff and springy. Occasionally, one might flip out of the holes as you try to push it in and spring back in your face or even across the room.

Work like a charm. Put these things everywhere and not a single raccoon has climbed up my house since. Those piliated woodpeckers also can't make loud pecking on my chimney cap anymore. Worth every penny.. bought twice!!!

I put these on my boat dock to deter ospreys and crows. Wasn't sure if they would work against a raptor as large as an Osprey, but they do! Assembly is a bit time consuming but installation is easy. Recommend

It takes a lot of time to assemble this spikes, so be prepared for several hours in doing this.So far these seem to keep the birds off the ledges and I used double back taped in some areas and glued to roof tiles in other areas.I will also screw them down to fence tops to keep the squirrels and cats from coming in my garden, this project is a work in progress so I don't know it it will work.I had one problem with my order in that: I should have received 200 feet of spikes, but I only got 160 feet. Amazon sent me another order (rather than the 40 feet I was shorted), they said they could not send just part of the order.

Very sturdy, made of heavy metal. Did the job of preventing the squirrels from getting to the bird feeders that were hanging from the evestrough.

I ordered 2 units. One was perfect but the other was missing all of the steel bases for the spikes. I order this product often and this is the first time this has happened. I am requesting seller to just send me the 60’ of metal bases to complete the order.

This is a good idea but.....It only slows the pigeons down. I caught a pigeon sitting ON the spikes. How is that even possible?

After having squirrels causing so many issues onto my yard, I realize the most humane way to deter them are installing these spikes. The squirrels have attempted to craw on the fence but overtime, they stopped since it takes a lot of energy and may cause them to fall. My only issue is I wish is that they had provided screws so make sure you purchase them beforehand. The quality is overall good and the spikes are closer together compare to another brand I purchased. The assembly is easy but really time consuming. No issues with any of the materials but cutting the metal requires very heavy duty scissors. Yes, I would recommend it to others.
