I have a problem with an overhang that small sparrows come and try to nest under the overhang on top of the awning. I placed one on each end of the awning and have not seen a bird since. No more picking up or sweeping away bird poop on my steps, great product.

I got my mom some and she has had them up for 2 weeks and the birds have not returned. Very easy to assemble. Hook is already attached. They spin even in a slow breeze. They look very pretty.

I bought these shiny hanging things to keep the birds out of my little shed. It did not keep the birds out. Very disappointed in that. But I have to say they are very pretty! When the sun shines on them they cast a glittery sparkly design on my house and in the shed. But it does not scare the birds. I have six hanging up so that three are at the entrance and the other three are two feet behind those. Three stars only because they are pretty, but don’t scare away the bird

I thought the birds would get used to these like they do every other gimmick. But they work great. Birds stopped eating my tomatoes. I think they see their own movement in the reflective surface and it makes them fly off. Worked all season.

So pretty. Idk if it works yet for deterring wood peckers but it looks very nice hanging up.
