This metal bird perch is AWESOME. My birds love it, and after a few weeks, they now know that’s their spot for eating – and it catches all of their poops while they’re there, which is truly a huge win. I have two small breed birds – a Caique and a Hahn’s Macaw – and they both fit easily on this perch together. Since there are two of them, the fact that there are two bowls on each side is perfect. I use one for water (my Caique likes to dip his food) and the other three for treats and/or food. I love that I can move this perch around from place to place, which is nice because my birds always want to be where I am, and now, I can distract them with their own perch while I’m busy with something else. The assembly was also quite simple and pretty straightforward. It didn't take me longer than ten minutes to put together myself. As far as sizing, it’s perfect for small to medium birds. The title of this product includes the breeds of Macaw and African Grey, and as someone who has experience with both, this perch is definitely not for them – and I’m speaking about the ‘LARGE’ size. Just something to keep in mind before purchasing. All in all, this has made snack time much neater, so I personally would recommend this for any other small to medium-sized parrot owners.

Item was listed as stainless steel so outdoor use should be fine without rusting. Not true! It lasted barely 6 weeks and the water dishes and entire stand is totally rusted and not usable for our parrot. Would like to return this item for some thing of a better quality but it made it just barely pass the 30 day Amazon return policy. Maybe it would work indoors but we have a cage for indoor use. We do not recommend this product at all.

I love that it's all metal- so cleaning and sanitizing it is simple and easy. The assembly was easy, my 13 year old daughter assembled it without any questions or problem and she's not mechanically inclined. For my conures, it's perfect because the design catches all their poo- their little butts don't hang far enough out to get one past the tray- which of course pops right off easily to clean. Many perches I've had were problematic in that their design had sitting areas too close to the edge so the tray wouldn't be big enough. The versatile design can be hung as well- so we can move this to different areas easily when the birds want to hang out in my office or on the table by the couch. They want to be where I am, and this perch gives them a place, as well as provisions for food and water.I'm very happy with this- and it is now the "go to" perch for moving around the house- and the all-metal design is absolutely brilliant.

The cons:⚫ The tray arrived dented. One metal cup was squashed into an oval and dented.⚫ Though it seems to provide nice stability, the angled arms encourage my parrots to walk down then to the tray instead of staying on the perch⚫ Yes, CLEAN IT BEFORE USE! The perch is filled with debris from manufacturing and needs a good flush. For the price we pay, i really feel this should have been done by the seller/manufacturer.⚫ I'd call this a five star design if the tray was larger and extended an inch or two around the width of the perch.... To catch poopies from my Indian Ringneck who often poops at weird angles and if he's on the edge, is big enough to lean his butt over the side and miss the tray. The pros:⚫ Its light weight, which makes it easy to move⚫ Aside from the dents caused by improper packaging, the metal seems an okay quality. Its not a heavy duty metal, but it does it's job here well. It is smooth and easy to clean.⚫ The metal perch is cool! I like that it's a perch i can wash and sanitize unlike when down rods you usually get with parrot perches that you need to replace eventually. My parrots have many perching options, so one of them being a straight metal roof is okay.⚫ It can hang or be set on a table! I love that!⚫ I wish it had the loop up to instead of on the perch, but i was able to attach a toy to the top. My IRN loves this.Note: i believe the loop on the perch is meant to attach jessies to (aka a leash attached to a bracelet that secured around a bird of prey's foot). This is NOT safe for birds that are not birds of prey; they have incredibly strong legs evolved to be able to pick up heavy kills and tear into carcasses. Parrots are at high risk of breaking their leg or injuring their feet/toes if you attach jessies to them. Parrots are not safely compatible with leaves that attach to their legs.I plan to hang a bell of of it for my birds to play with. I can't do much anything that's bigger because then they'd poop on it being that is right under the perch.

Straight up trash. The tray that comes with it has a bunch of dents in it. The Amazon box was undamaged, so I'm left to assume it came like this from the manufacturer. Also, it's rendered useless to me by the sheer fact that it is missing ONE BOLT. The one bolt missing is one of two that hold up the actual perch the birds stand on. Unboxing and assembling this item felt like a cruel joke and I wouldn't recommend anyone buy this product. 0% satisfaction. Poor manufacturing and packing.

I really love this attractive perch. My birds are situated right in my living room area so it’s important that any of their accessories are a pleasing. I hung this this from next to the window, near their cage.
