Lotsa fun for new shooters to know if they’re hitting the target!

I haven't used it yet, and will update my review tomorrow after using. I just wanted to say, this thing is TINY. I knew it was small, but it is much much smaller than it looked to be when I bought it and for the price...I'm not sure that I will be satisfied. Picture of product next to cat for size reference, and in case you couldnt tell, the cat is bigger. I'll be back tomorrow!

Description states: "requires a moderately powerful airgun (approximately 500 feet per second or faster) with .177 lead pellets only to operate effectively" I have a Gamo 6110017154 Varmint Air Rifle caliber: 0.177 with a velocity of 1250.00 ft/sec.The paddles barely moved. Would not recommend this Target Gallery for .177

This target is made of heavy metal and seems high quality. But I can figure out how the targets are supposed to flip up and stay until you hit the bottom target which releases them all back down again. I just don't get it this the 4 star. it still works well and makes a nice sound when you hit it with a pellet.

Cheaper kinetic targets that just use two legs always end up being knocked backwards during shooting, forcing a pause to stand it back up. Not this unit. Bang away for 100 shots, it is stable. Great design.

The targets are very heavy and well made. They are small though. Don't expect a large target. Look at the dimensions in the description. Ideal for 22 cal. and up. A challenge to hit. Perfect.

Loads of fun. Takes a beating and just needs some spray paint to look new again.

Whilst I have only had the target one week, it has had about 100rounds of Winchester hollow point subsonic hits at both 60 and 30 yards, at this points my comments would be:-• Comes fully assembled which is helpful.• Appears robust and fit for purpose.• Instructions clear.• Works on nearly every shot, albeit sometimes when you hit the final paddle, first will drop back down again• Reset always works• After 100 rounds of subsonic hits there is no dimpling on the paddles• As per other reviews the orange stick on target disintegrates on first hit, but I was aware of that and I bought orange spray paint as well, so that’s no problem• Did hit the frame once, but it did no damage just took some paint offIn summary, great fun, particularly useful at 100 yards when you can’t see bullet strikes without a spotting scope. Appears well made. I would recommend.

This target is addicting!I used it with a Benjamin Trail .22 pellet (495 fps) with scope and once I had the positioning right, it worked every time. At first I had the target tilted too much and the power of the shots flipped the paddles so hard it just moved the reset bar out of the way (it was set up on a slight slope) - once it was level it was fine. The target spots are about 1.5" so it was perfect for precision shooting with the scope on the Trail. Very satisfying to hit the reset paddle! Nice plinking sound.I also used it with my older (apprx. 14 years old) Crosman .177 break barrel with peep sights and was still super fun - I was able to flip the paddles a few times but only when I hit the black dot in the centre - the shots just didn't have the same power as the .22 pellet. Wadcutters and Hollowpoints seemed to be better for power on impact. Using the peep sights was a little more difficult with such a small target, but that much more rewarding when you hit it!Seems to be holding up very well to the abuse (dented up a bit but nothing serious).Highly recommend for backyard plinking or if you want to tune your skills. Not sure how it would hold up with a rim-fire .22 or a >500fps .22 air rifle, but seeing as how it wasn't made for that it's not a problem.

After trying, and returning, a competing brand that has a problem with roll pins falling out, I purchased this unit. I have now taken it to the range twice, and am completely satisfied with it. It's durable. The method of construction (essentially using areas of welding filler material as stops rather than roll pins) makes this thing virtually indestructible under normal usage. And, I like the overall configuation a lot better. It folds flat for transportation. The targets have very little tenancy to spontaneously reset until you hit the reset target. About the only improvement that I can think of, would be some kind of clamping screw to position the two legs which extend forward. The front legs swivel and slide up and down on the two rear legs. So their position/orientation is somewhat variable and adjustable. The correct position is when they are slid all the way up the rear legs until they contact the cross bar (on which the targets swivel) as shown in the picture. But they can be splayed sideways, and that gives you a little bit of adjustment on how the unit sits if the ground is slightly sloping or uneven. But it would be nice to be able to turn a thumb set screw on the back side to lock them into the desired position. It's possible to deflect one of the front legs sideways if you hit it (and you will occasionally). I have succeeded in knocking one of the legs sufficiently that the assembly fell over. The ground it was on was hard. If it was a little softer, just pushing the ends of the four legs slightly into the ground would solve most of that problem.yes, the orange target papers are going to come off, bit by bit. I'm actually surprised how hard a little .22LR slug is smaking these things. The paper will come off, in pieces, with repeated hits. And so does paint, on both sides. Nothing you paint on the targets, or stick on them, is going to stay on. The stick-on orange targets are just fine, and you can buy packages of replacements. It's quick and easy to replace them.

This is a fun little interactive target for .22 rimfire pinking. It was actually built much "beefier" then I expected, having purchased and used other .22 targets in the past. The spinners seem to be of good quality and fairly thick steel. That said, I would not, and have not shot this with anything but a .22 as it is definitely not made to hold up to center fire rounds.I had some problems with the first spinner not "setting" because it was spinning around fast enough to "bump" the retaining bar out of the way. Once one spinner had "set" it would hold the bar by friction so the others rarely gave me any problem. However, the friend I was shooting with that day (who shot the target more then I did) did not have any of these problems. I suspect that prior targets of this type have taught me to "aim low" on the paddles to get enough power to spin the target completely, and this target may work better with a center shot.Resets worked flawlessly and I never had a problem with it not resetting.I wasn't using any really high velocity rounds, but I was shooting this from MUCH closer then the recommended distance (I'm aware of the dangers of shooting steel and how to minimize them) and with "copper washed" (.22 doesn't really have jacketed) rounds (Remington Bulk Golden Bullets, if I recall correctly), and I had no problem with pitting of the plates (other then the normal lead splatter). The stupid stickers blew off about the second shot, but that's to be expected (I'm not even sure why they bother putting them on). A little spray paint in your favorite color generally makes the target plenty visible, so the stickers aren't even close to necessary.Overall, a good little target and lots of fun to take to the range. I've ordered the center fire version for use with my bigger guns.
