Your cart is empty.The biOrb Airstone fits in the base of the biOrb underneath the filter cartridge. It breaks up the flow of air into the aquarium, splitting it into a mass of fine bubbles. It also reduces noise from the air pump. Over time the tiny pores in the air stone can become blocked by dirt and limescale preventing air from getting through properly. Depending on your local water supply and the conditions in your biOrb an air stone can last anywhere from 3 months to 3 years. Changing the air stone from time to time is advisable.

This is a must have item. Fits very snug as it should. Why I prefer OEM parts/accessories, etc. This stops the large high pressure air bubbles 🫧 also it disperses the oxygen properly. I am new to this Biorb Fish Tank 🐟 I haven't had pet fish since I was a young child I don't remember much as I was to young to care for Tank, filter, fish, etc. I definitely notice my Fish are feeling better by breathing better since I installed this. FYI make sure you have a new replacement Biorb filter since you shut filter, air off pull tube to install this. Seriously, this really makes a difference. Get one and replace when needed. We'll worth it. Next time I will order extras so I have them. Makes no sense to replace filter and not this for $6.99.

I just changed my Airstone and Filter for the first time since I purchased my Biorb back in February. The results are clear as day. See how clear my tank is now. I love my Biorb. It takes a while (30 days) for the tank to cycle, but it is worth the wait.

I seem like I need one every three months, I’m not sure this is a problem with this product but it just seems to me like it should last longer. After about three months, no more bubbles and time to buy a new one (and clean out the tanks). The good news is they aren’t very expensive

I read a lot of the reviews before purchasing this airstone. I did read that any ordinary air stone would have worked but i wanted to make sure that it would fit. Putting this on was a breeze and mine did not crack. I never forced it on it just slid on. I bought my tank used so when i found out I was missing this after a few months of hearing the air bubbles I decided to change the filter. This has no silenced my bubbles and I will sleep easier at night! I would recommend to anyone with a biorb tank! I have also included a few photos to help fellow buyers!

This product review is basically pomp and circumstance. The item is an essential part of the biOrb fish aquarium setup and really those who have such an aquarium know they need it. If you are deciding whether or not to purchase a biOrb aquarium please read. The air stone is essential to dispersing the oxygen into the tank at a better rate than other aquariums. If you choose a biOrb and don't take care of it your air stone will dirty much faster and need replacing at a higher frequency. If handled to roughly it is possible to break. The stone seems pretty durable but keep in mind that like all important parts of a fish aquarium it is not to be neglected. This is a great item and there are compatible versions out there but in my experience are not as durable and efficient as the Reef One Air Stone. Great item, and lives up to its description.
