BioGuard Pool Magnet Plus prevents staining due to iron, copper and manganese. It also eliminates discolored water from metals. This product has been recently reformulated and is now more concentrated and effective as ever. Pool experts recommend that this product be used monthly in pools that hold iron-containing fill water. It is only necessary to be used monthly because it stays effective for 3-4 weeks. It is recommended to use Pool Magnet Plus in conjunction with BioGuard Sparkle Up to remove metals from the water.

Hands down THE BEST way to clean your pool steps! Can’t recommend it enough! I recommend drilling a 3/16” hole in the cap and using it as a squirt bottle

Saw a youtube video of a guy using this. I bought it and it worked just like video said. Also worked in about 10 minutes.

This product works. My neighbor had "cobalt" stains and drained their pool and had a crew sand the entire pool due to discoloration. Two months later the spots were back. This time the Bioguard Pool magnet was used, and over night, BAM, no more spots. Don't go to drastic lengths with your pool. Use Bioguard first!

I’m not sure what the happens but I have a salt pool and the cell generator no longer is generating chlorine. I think there is some issue with the ions and using a sequester. Bottom line, buy high quality salt. Cheaper salt equals contaminants like iron. Maybe all salt will have some. But I’m not happy about the salt cell. If this is a “thing” when using a sequester agent, the manufacturer should provide instructions to that point. Now I have a new problem to solve. From what I have now learned, Jacks products are made for salt pools. Idk.

We purchased this product because we have hard water. We installed a new fiberglass pool this summer and after about a month we noticed a few yellowish/brownish spots on the bottom of the pool. I read the reviews and thought we'd give it a try. After following the directions we ended up with a very murky pool!!! I wasn't crazy about having to turn our pump off for over 24 hours, but that is what the directions said. The pool looked worse after the treatment.
