This is a standard connection for most wifi cards and routers so this antenna can replace some of the smaller antennas for a upgrade to your signal quality. I used one on a USB wifi card and it worked great. I used 2 of them on the back of a PC wifi card and it was a huge upgrade to signal quality.

I want to place several Temperature and Humidity capture devices around my two story home and display them in a centralized location. The transmit range of a typical ESP32 is limited so limited and I wanted to gain additional distance so I picked this unit ESP32U which has ability to attach a longer range antenna to it. I purchase 3 of these ESP's along with 3 antennas (Bingfu Dual Band WiFi 2.4GHz 5GHz 5.8GHz 8dBi RP-SMA Male Antenna 20cm 8 inch RG178 U.FL IPX IPEX to RP-SMA Female Cable 4-Pack ) to test the distance requirement. I have been able to place to two "transmitters" at the far extremes of the house and have not had any problem with reception. ESP32-NOW doesn't use WiFi so I don't contend for internet usage. Have had running several months and plan to add several more units. I plan on 3D printing a case for them to please my wife.

I bought these to use with some ESP32 and ESP8286 devices. Some had antenna connectors, some I had to solder connectors on manually. As far as I can tell these antenna are working. I try my best to avoid using wifi on my personal devices but the microcontrollers seem to have a 10-20 dbi increase over the pcb antenna.

I installed one of these on a WYZE outdoor cam version 3 that was getting poor signal from the base. After installation I have had no issues connecting at all. Even this winter with below zero temps everything is working great.I know others have said the DB gain on these may not be as stated, that I cannot confirm. But If you own WYZE cams I can confirm these will work but you will need to modify the cameras to accept an external antenna. There's a few videos on YouTube explaining how to do this depending on which version of WYZE Cam you have. Just search for External Antenna For WYZE Cam or something like that and you should be able to find them. Usually for me the first video at the top is for the newer Wyze Cam V3 and the one below it is for the older versions.
