I ordered this particular item because it had the single color I was looking for; Red.I had intended to use a local office supply chain store to replace this new comb spine with an old broken one on my cookbook, but I actually discovered by accident that I could replace it myself and just simply snip off the extra, with a pair of scissors. Don't line the holes up in a straight line! It won't work. line them up in a curved shape, and the splines will slide in slick as snot. I found that out by accident. This set is a great value, though. I may end up using the entire box to create crochet pattern books out of my many patterns. These hold a great many pages. The cookbook was nearly 300 pages.
