Got these to use instead of the nylon OEM canopy hinges. They have been on the boat for 6 months no corrosion and no problems and they have been used in fresh and saltwater

Installed this on inside tip edge of aluminum boat. Did not want a mount on top rail of boat. Use this for rear bimini hard pole mount. Plastic bimini fitting with hole fit really tight. Had yo file down the width of the plastic bimini connector and drill the hole larger to make it easier to fit in opening.

These are almost a 1-for-1 replacement of the plastic mounting hinges that came with my Bimini top. They sit a bit higher than the original plastics mounts, but only about 1/4 higher. These screws are also a size up from the screws I used to mount the original hardware. So I had to drill out the holes.But, these make it really easy to take down, and put up the Bimini. I don't have to fight with the screws and worry about loosing the nuts.
