Used to mount 2 1/8" hole saw to drill and install door knobs. Worked great, very solid, no issues. Seems well made and price is right. Will probably last forever, but would buy again if needed.

This is a quality item, but I had ordered it specifically to fit a 3/8" drill chuck but the hex shank is slightly larger. Not quite 1/2" diameter but 1/6" or 3/32" larger than 3/8". I suspect that this product is made to metric size specifications and that the seller approximated the size to a 3/8" imperial measurment. Its not. I will try to machine down several faces of the hex shank in order to get the 3/8" diameter, rather than go through the hassle of returning and finding an alternate product that may have the same issue.
