It's an affordable option to get power windows. Things I don't like. The screws and mounting hardware could be better quality. Better instructions More descriptive pictures. The snap ring kept coming out. I just left it out and it seems to be fine. Include some fuse taps would be a nice addition to these kits. Overall I've been happy with the power windows.

It worked on my honda civic 1990. Install was long because of the nature of it, but it was easy, all pieces work. also buttons do light up, it's pretty cool. I didn't use the button covers, instead I made square holes in my dashboard and fitted them there.Motor is not SUPER STRONG. I don't know how this would behave with heavier windows. Don't think too well.Instructions were not very clear, but there is tutorials in youtube and what else.

Great product, i was really happy with the wiring harness included and the lighted window switches. They fit great in my 97 cavalier. I'm a little disappointed that the passenger window is really slow and i even greased all the internals up, the driver window goes normal speed tho. Both windows were easy to roll down by hand. I'm not sure if thats how its suppose to be or if i got a defective window motor. Other than that issue id recommend this kit.

A good upgrade for my 70 C10. Took me a couple hours to figure out the passenger door with the wiring just laid out. Once I had that working, I installed the wiring and the drivers door took about an hour to do. The motors are much smaller than any other power window motor I've seen and they are easy enough to hide and secure inside the door. I had to grease the snot out of every moving gear, bearing and bushing to get this to actually operate the window. We discovered that the switches are illuminated while leaving a friends house at night, so I'll have to install a relay so that it works off the ignition switch. I was actually pleased to see that and the modification is minor at the power connection. I would never recommend wiring this up to existing wiring harnesses as it could easily over power your system (and let the smoke out of some wires)The good points: I now have power windows... I can roll down the passenger window, with out getting up from my seat A fairly simple and easy to assemble wiring harness that leaves ample wire for even the biggest cars/trucks. Illuminated switches and drilling templates for each of them. Really good price compared to what these kits used to cost. Nice and clean install of switches and caps for the mechanism. The Bad points: The instructions leave a lot to be desired No self drilling and tapping screws (had to purchase separate) These are quite loud compared to factory installed units and some other aftermarkets The cables are exposed and will eventually collect enough dirt and dust to clog up the mechanism It has an ample selection of caps to hide where the hand crank once was, but the caps scream CHEAP This kit should have come with a wiring diagram and a relay. I've had these installed for 2 weeks now (in my daily driver 1970 Chevy C10) The passenger window hangs up on occasion and I have had to "assist it" twice. It's getting better as the grease works its way into the gears and bushings. I should have also ordered new window regulators to make this a better and smoother system, but we're buying from here because we are cheapskates, so it is what it is. I'll update this if anything changes, so far it's all good. I gave the kit 4 stars because it should have had drilling and tapping screws and a relay included with the kit, so it is not a COMPLETE kit as the title claims.

The installation instructions were terrible. I'm an auto technician and I had a very difficult time figuring it out. I did finally install them and they seem to work pretty good. Not perfect, just good.

First off great product for the price, considering you could easily spend double trying to do a conversion any other way.took about a week to arrive(worth the wait) opened the package and seen rite away that the instructions or useless and might as well not have any, but dont worry not very hard to install. Im a do it yourself type person but it took a little time to get my head cleared at first becauseit was a llittle overwhelming with the wiring but all you need to know is wire it to your "red" 12v accessory wire, I hooked my to the one that runs to the radio so they turn off when I have the key out.after the wiring confusion it went real smooth and after checking to see if it works wich it did I was very pleased with it, I have a 99 pontiac firebird with manual windows, well now power windows but it wad just an inconvenience to have to lean over and roll over the passenger side so just pushing a button is great.the motors did fit 100% but I made it work . and both sides work fine, passengers side a bit slower but its ok, all you need to install it is.i would recommend a drill faster and actually thats about it, maybe WD40/grease to make the tracks run a bit smoother, I did.hope this helped and what I did iis looked up on youtube to get a visual of how to do it.thanks

fast delivery, instructions fairly easy to follow. easy if u done this kinna work before. every thing u need is in this kit (excluding tools for installation) just needed to drill some mounting holes. window rolls up a little slow, but worth what i paid for. over all happy with the purchase.UPDATE: March 2013 almost year and a half since installing and still works... so if your looking for a power window converter kit and not willing to spend an arm and leg this is it.UPDATE: May 2013 driver side starting to fail. goes down. but struggles at times to close. manual crank works fine but decieded to order another pair and switch out the bad motor. now i got a spare motor =).Still think i got my moneys worth.
