One, (of 3), of the packages got lost by the carrier. Seller customer service got right on it, verified that it wasn't delivered and immediately shipped me a replacement. Received as soon as possible. No arguments, no hassles. Just great customer service the way that ALL sellers should treat customers. I woul not hesitate to do business with them in the future. For its size, this splitter works very well, I had a situation occur splitting cedar elm and the hydralic piston rod bent, not sure how, contacted the company inquiring about purchasing the replacement part, ( it was still in warranty period) the company response was to send me a new replacement splitter. The splitter is well built and I figured I damaged it by splitting this wood from he!! Very satisfied with the product and the company response to damage I'm pretty sure I caused and was upfront with them about it, will definitely purchase their products again.

When it comes, it comes in three boxes. Each is fairly heavy, your carrier is going to love you. Some of the best shipping pack jobs I've seen. Each box is lined with light plywood, all six sides. Each part is surrounded by cardboard blocking. This ain't these folks first rodeo when it comes to packing. Did I mention, boxes, HEAVY. It does take a little while to unpack. Instructions are good and assembly is fairly easy. Took about 3 1/2 hours. I was in no rush and drinking coffee. You will need a funnel to add fluids. Started first pull, made some whining sounds, then quieted down quickly. Let it run for about 15 minutes at different rpms and cycled cylinder several times. I then split some cured aspen. Went through 16" log like it was butter. We'll see what it does on some green aspen tomorrow. For now, very happy.

This is a great little splitter, with tons of power to split anything I threw at it today. Had some difficulty with odd shaped pieces with knots and such, but was able to reposition the piece and get through it another direction. I am totally thrilled with this little splitter! Looking forward to our next storm to bring down some trees! Lol. The only reason I didn’t give it a five was that the stand had a dented piece that is going to have to be replaced by the company. Calling customer service Monday.
