This product malfunctioned. You can forget the alleged "lifetime warranty". Neither the seller, Internet Sales, who cannot even be contacted, nor Amazon itself is willing to honor the warranty. I got nothing but lies and a run-around by everyone I spoke to at Amazon.

Had 5100 series before this. 6112 Series is much thicker and gives a good lift with the springs. Amazing look for my 2005 4Runner 4.0L V6 Limited

Product application: 2005 Toyota 4runner 4x4 with the 4.0 V6. Install: the install process was standard. I have done coilovers before. The only difference with these is the coils are almost touching the shocks. Be vary careful when using the spring compressors on these. I did not experience any issues with them falling off but it was very precarious. I set mine at the highest setting for a 2.5" lift. I panicked a little when I let my truck down and it was 5" higher that it was before! But after a very short 1/4 mile drive the suspension settled down 1". I have driven it now 2 weeks and it has leveled out at 3 1/4 inches of lift. My old shocks were the original shocks and were completely worn out. I am sure that the springs has settled a bit. I wanted to have my truck level with the back but at the lift height that I received from the setting, I was now a little high in the front. Instead of removing and lowering the adjustment ring, I decided to just lift the back with new springs. I needed to replace the shocks anyways. I am super glad that I did. I got the Bilstein 5160 for the back and new springs. This was much quicker than re-doing the front. It only took 2.5 hours to do the back. It took me 7.5 hours to do the fronts. And it was much harder work for those 7.5 hours. I am very happy with the lift height that I got. I did have both inner CV boots leak grease in the beginning but it appears that it has stopped. My CV axles are OEM as well so I figure that they are old anyways. I am no longer worried about them.Driving: I feel like I own a new truck. I had 2 bumps on my way to work that would cause my truck suspension to bottom out. This bump is is now just a blip. I now barely feel it. Small bumps are more firm but the big ones are now smooth. I feel like the truck no longer darts around and feel jumpy when I hit bumps. Dive is also better. I am now higher but I feel that the truck is more stable under all conditions. I know that I am comparing my 11 year old shocks to these but the difference is amazing. I have driven a Tundra with the 5100 bilsteins and I did not like them. I felt that they were too mushy. I wanted something a little stiffer and something that would stand up to more. I feel that I found the perfect shocks. They are firmer but not at all harsh. I was expecting a harsh ride. Like a truck. I think the balance is just right. I am glad that I saved up for these.Buying: I ordered these from Amazon as they were quite a bit less than anyone else. But be warned it took only 2 day shy of a month to receive them. These are new and people are ordering is all I can figure. Well worth the wait but order early and don't expect them. Conclusion: I love them and am very happy with my set up! I would do it exactly the same again.

Mounted on my 05 Lexus GX470 KDSS to replace worn out, expensive electronically adjustable OEM shocks. Could not be happier so far. I run them in the middle height setting, they have now settled at ~1.5" of lift. My E-load rated 265/70/17 KO2's destroyed the ride and handling with factory setup, these restored it and could not be happier. Hit the trails with them to verify off-road performance, 20deg & 50mph of rocky snowy two-track and fire road, butter smooth. I cannot verify long-term reliability but I anticipate it is on par with other Bilstein products. Bilstein hit this one out of the park, much more reasonable option than $1200 re-buildable coil overs with similar performance. Very happy I went this route for an Overland rig.

Lifted the front of the ol FJ three inches, rides like a dream compared to stock. Easy installation, that is if you are a man.
