Everytime you drop or a stick falls over it leaves a mark. That does not happen with these clips; the top of the cue is clipped in and it does not come out unless you pull it out. This works if you have a bumper on the bottom of your cue.No more leaning a cue against a wall or door. I do have a floor cue rack but these clips are so easy, I just stick them in the clips between racks and shots. This is a screw on product that works best with a wood screw (I used a #4 which is 3/4 in length. Do yourself a favor and make a pilot hole with a 1/16 bit or small nail. There is a raised ring around the mounting hole so make sure the screw head is fully inside that ring. This keeps the cue shaft from getting damaged. The clips mount on wall or woodwork, easily.
