Compliments the interior and feels great. Easy install. Didn’t have to use the set nut. You can adjust the shift pattern with the set screw inside the shifter.

I'm a 77yo male with a 2019 (non-STI) WRX that I bought new (now modified in many respects). What a great car! However, I have never particularly cared for the "chunky" gearbox (even with a short-throw shifter) in this car (the car's only drawback). So, at my grandson's suggestion, I bought this "weighted" leather, Candy Red gear shifter knob. It's great!. It doesn't totally remove the "chunkiness", but it does make the shifting sufficiently more smooth (except for "pushing" it up into 1st gear). In conclusion, it's pricey, but appears to be very well made and well worth it. (BTW- I had a heck of a time unscrewing the OEM Subaru gear shift knob. I had to wrap the OEM knob with a couple strips of stout rubber, then taped it to keep the rubber in place; then, with large channel lock pliars, and much squeezing and turning in a CCW direction, the knob finally managed to come loose. Good luck!)

Installation was quick and easy, make sure to follow the instructions because top nut will get stuck in shifter know if you only finger tighten. Shift knob is excellent quality and weight.

It's awesome buy it feels great but it's been 2 years and the orange spots have faded to silver and the red is wearing off but it still feels great
