The trailer shaft was too big to fit in my new standard size Allen trailer receiver. I took a bench grinder to the outside to shave off material to get it to fit just to have it and not hassle with sending it back. Took off a bit of the diameter and also a bit to lengthen the shoulder so the hole would line up.

Got this for my Hipeak ebike and doesn't fit, needs to be grinded down about an 1/8 inch.

The product details say it’s compatible with the Alan bike trailer, but it was too big. My husband spent 30 minutes grinding it down with trial and error to make it fit. Now that it fits though it does the job and it’s sturdy.

I bought this to use with a free second-hand child trailer/carrier made by Master Cycle. The trailer is complete except for this piece that bolts to the bike. This one is slightly too large in diameter to fit into the trailer coupling. However, my trailer's coupling has very thick walls and It will be simple for me to drill the coupling to accept this larger attachment. I nearly got rid of the bike trailer because I couldn't find any information or parts available for it, so I was very excited to find this piece and get it back on the road.
