.... And perfect for the storage of your bicycle, especially if you have limited space to do so. This utilizes space on your wall, and allows for more floor space for other needs, if that is the way you choose to arrange it of course. Which typically I think will be the most popular way that this is used since people usually have more wall space than they do floor space, naturally. So it frees up some room on my floor, though it's not necessarily my preferred style of decoration LOL. But you can't have it all your way, all the time, can you? It's nice and solid and I feel that the bike stays attached securely without the threat of falling down and causing all sorts of havoc. Simple and easy to use, common sense basically.

This Vertical Bike Stand is an excellent solution for both vertical and horizontal bike storage. It’s well-designed, with adjustable height to fit various bike types, including mountain bikes, hybrids, and road bikes. The sturdy construction ensures that bikes remain secure and stable, whether it’s in the garage or an indoor space. Assembly is straightforward, and the stand takes up minimal floor space, making it ideal for smaller areas. I appreciate how it protects the bike and keeps it upright without leaning against walls, reducing the risk of scratches. If you’re looking for a reliable and space-saving bike storage option, this stand is a great investment.

My son helped me put it together in the first place, though that was a precaution on my part. The instructions appear a lot more complex than they actually are. If you lay out the pieces to do the initial inventory as shown in the pictures, identifying what goes where is pretty easy. They label the pieces in the inventory and use those labels throughout. The stand screws together easily using the provided hex wrench and fixed wrench. They even provided an extra bolt with one of each type of nut in case you lose a piece. I am storing them in the small zipped plastic bag that holds the straps.Using the straps is the only difficult step because the instructions only show how to put the bike in upright, and the straps are not labeled so we thought there was only one strap when there are two. These are only used when storing the bike vertically, or rather all of them are only used then. It's a good safety measure to still secure the wheel when horizontal, though the design is well thought out to hold the bike. I did have to go back to the product page to confirm how it works horizontally, but only because either the front or back wheel would work (front is the intended one). Also, one of the rubber feet was not in the rod. It wasn't listed on the inventory, presumably because it was supposed to be in place, but it was easy enough to figure out what the piece was and then check for the metal rod that had no rubber foot. This stand is supposed to work both upright and normal, but the instructions do not mention how it works when horizontal, so I'm left to guess. I even went to the product page and I don't think I saw a picture of how to set it up.I also misremembered how the bike was supposed to go in, so my first attempt at upright was an utter failure. There's a chance my bike will not fit because it is a Giant-brand beach cruiser and so has a very large center support rod (maybe 2.5-3 inches around). Having gone over the pictures again, I think this will be irrelevant, but it was not one of the measurements recommended before I ordered. But I ran into another hold up. My bike has one of the simple frames for attaching a bag or basket over the back wheel. This is a problem for the frame. They are not compatible, and it's another way the description did not warn me off. I planned to remove the shelf to see whether the stand can work without it, but haven't had the chance. I believe the product description should have more diagrams regarding how this works so that people don't purchase it when their bikes won't fit.I will say, though other reviews say the stand is flimsy, I don't think it is. The stand certainly held through all my attempts to get my bike correctly mounted. It never tipped over, nor did any of the pieces become damaged. While the stand appears not to work for my bike (or maybe just with the shelf over the back wheel), as a concept, it is sound, and as designed, it also appears capable. I wish I'd been able to get my bike on it.

The stand is as described. The paint and holes are machned very well for a drop shipped product. Instructions was very clear and setup was easy. The stand is great for doing some maintenance work by keep the bike upright. I haven't tried storing my bike vertically in the standing position yet but I don't think there should be any issues.

While a clever design to store a bike vertically, this Hammrit bike stand is a little on the lighter-weight end of what I'd consider appropriate steel construction for expensive mountain bikes. The tubular steel allow is thinner than I'd prefer and there's more strain/flex than I'd like with my mountain bike (which has a carbon fibre frame). Overall, it's a decent but not amazing storage option. I wouldn't say it's practical for a bike that gets regularly used as constantly using the straps would get annoying, but to flip a bike on end out of the way for a little while it works fine. Self-assembly is required, and the instructions are serviceable but it's all pictures and arrows, and the parts aren't labelled, but there aren't that many different parts so its mostly a matter of deciphering the pictures as you go. Once upright, it's reasonably steady and sturdy - while there is some wobble and shake, and a good hard shove or walking into it will topple it over, it's steady enough that an accidental nudge or gust of wind won't be a problem. The design is self-supporting, and once you adjust the height of the seat post stand the bike nestles onto it and will readily stay there with no straps at all (though I think you're asking for trouble if you leave it that way). One thing that needs work is the strap system. For some bizarre reason the velcro inverts between the hook side and the loop side, so you can't use the buckle as a lever system to hold bike and stand together. Instead, you pass the strap just around the stand and through the buckle, then it goes around the bike post or tire and velcros back on itself. It's not ideal, especially if you wan to secure the bottom tire to the tray as you have to pass the weird strap around the entire tray to try to secure it. I got fed up and just used a bungee cord I had in my garage at that point. The other issue is that the seat post arm fits very tightly into the receiver tube it's mounted in, and adjusting it was difficult because it got stuck repeatedly. In terms of size, my bike has 27.5" wheels and it fits fine, but I feel like for regular use a full size adult men's bike is too much bike for this stand size and weight-wise. I'll probably end up using it for one of my kids who rides an adult small instead. At time of review, this stand is $66 CAD and frankly I think that's significantly overpriced and not a great value (which is why this received a 3* rating rather than 4*). Yes, it's steel, but it's not high strength or thickness steel tubing and there really isn't that much to the product overall. It's a decent basic light stand, but I don't think its materials justify the associated price tag at all.

This stand had promise. It looked wider and more able to support a heavy e-bike like mine. When it came I noticed it's construction and material to be weak and cheap overall. This mounted my bike but was wobbly and didn't feel safe. I returned it for a different model.

This item overall worked, it was not super difficult to assemble, though there were minor tolerance issues with some of the bars sliding into other pieces, where pieces you'd think would be interchangeable were not just because of slight mismatches in dimensions and I feel like I was lucky that it worked at all without needing some extra modifications on my part to be able to put it together. that said, overall it will hold a bike fine, that said I do not think it's the best way of storing a bicycle, for me, it's only a very minor improvement in terms of space saving over just having a bicycle sitting on the floor in it's normal orientation - it's also quite expensive at $26 dollars to barely really make any difference. The only situations where I think this would be worth it is if you need an upright bike rack and you cannot put anything on your wall, if you have the option to use a wall for hanging than this item is completely obsolete and should not even be considered. Also this only really works well if you have a big enough area of wall space exposed that you can put the base against the wall where it extends out, otherwise it just takes up way to much floor space and sticks out way to far into the room to really be useful. Also really was not a fan at all of the velcro straps included to secure the bike to the stand once it's assembled, they do not specifically tell you in the instructions how to attach them, just a very vague drawing showing where the mounting point under the bike seat should be velcro'd and in my case with my particular bike, the velcro strap is just sized incorrectly and there is no orientation in which it can really be secure, so i either have to use a different strap or modify the strap, or strap it in a more creative and less secure manner.

I thought this would help with space with the vertical storage option shown, but it doesn't work unless your bike has a very specific angle seat post and it has to also be the right height. This also doesn't come with any protective materials and it's just metal so if you try to rest your seat post or any other painted portion of the bike the way it shows in the horizontal position, it will be scratching the bike. I am only able to use it to hold the bike tire horizontally on the ground which doesn't help with saving any floorspace.
