Easy to put on as well as hit the bell with my thumb without letting go of the handlebars.Excellent price and sound quality.

Although this bell looks a bit unconventional, it is nice and loud. It’s unobtrusive and gets the attention of people around you. I got tired of warning walkers and joggers that I was riding up to them from behind, and this works quite well. I ding it when I’m a good way away from people, so I don’t startle anyone. I definitely recommend this bell, instead of yelling, “heads up!”.

Compact and does exactly what I want. One ding seems to get attention.

The photos show where I tried this new fangled bell out on my E-bike. The blue bell shown in my photos is what I currently use and makes a well-known bicycle or tricycle ching-ching sound which everyone knows. This new bell is narrow on the handlebars and doesn't take up as much real estate as my conventional blue bell. So that's a plus. And if you mounted it next to your hand grip you could ring your bell without taking your hand off the handlebar -- a BIG PLUS!However I don't care for the sound this makes: it's loud enough, but is a constant ring tone. The loud ring dies off after you flick the spring-mounted knob once. It doesn't seem like a warning ring to me, so I will keep using my old one. You could flick/ring this new one 2 or 3 times, but by then, you've probably ran into whoever you were trying to warn. Also, my existing bike bell is blue and my wife's is green -- which makes it easy to tell our bikes apart when parked together.Overall, a loud single-ring bike bell which is narrow and doesn't take up much handlebar space.

I didn't understand at first how it worked because it is an unconventional design. However once I figured it out, I like it. It is attractive, fits my 31.8 mm handlebar well, and it is effective from a distance to get someone's attention on the trail. It is of high quality and looks good. The directions on the package could be a little clearer. Excellent value for the money.

I often ride my road bike on local shared bike/jogging trails. Letting the walkers and joggers know I am about to pass is important. I thought this bell would do the trick. It's very un-obtrusive, on the handlebars next to the stem it's barely noticeable. It comes with enough hardware to fit almost any handlebar. It seems very well built too.But it's single "ding" isn't very loud. For me, it doesn't seem to do the job. Just not loud enough. I'll continue to shout "bike on your left" instead of relying on a little "ding".Good bell, just not for me.

This may be the best bicycle bell out there! I love the design and how it fits to the handlebar. The tone is absolutely perfect. Great for alerting people along your travels.
