Update: Leaking air. We ran into a big problem with this leaking air and it is not patchable. Disappointed.This soft and cute "pillow" is more like a bed! It is big. After the first inflation using the included hand pump, our hedgehog went flat. We refilled it and ensured that it was closed tight and haven't had any problem with it losing air since. Our 8-year-old has slept on it a couple of times after leaving his bed. The hedgehog matches exactly the description and is of good quality. I would recommend this item but the price is expensive.

This hedgehog is very large. It is great for the kids to lay on while they watch a movie. It inflates and deflates easily. The cloth is super soft and the colors are very vibrant. The kids fight over who gets to lay on it next. My daughter is 11 and can actually curl up on it and sleep.

The hedgehog is super cute and the children love sitting on it and playing around. It's soft to the touch all over. The pump is a little dubious and is making some sort of air passage sound from all the wrong spots. Luckily the hedgehog can be air pumped with just about anything available.

We loved everything about this large floor pillow! It comes with a pump so it is easy to inflate. The cover is made of a soft furry fabric that is embroidered with the facial details. The cover is very well built and appears to be very durable. The back of it has rubber dot grippers to keep it from sliding on smooth surfaces. We have used this pillow in the bedroom, living room and outside. It is always what the kids gravitate to and love to lay on. It is large enough that a couple small children could lay on it at the same time. The cover can easily be removed by using the zipper if you need to clean it.

Okay, I admit that when I first pulled this out of the box I thought "what have I done?!?!"This dude is huge.The cover is incredibly soft, though, and my six year old was invested in seeing how cool it would be blown up, so we pulled out the air compressor.Three full minutes later (like I said, this dude is big!) we had a fully inflated hedgie pillow? Raft? Mini mattress? Curled up with their electronics, both the 6 and 12 year old fit on this at the same time, so calling it a pillow doesn't really give an accurate picture.I tried it out myself when it was unoccupied for a moment and it's really comfy. The big beanbag may have some serious competition!The construction seems very good; seams on both the vinyl insert and the fabric cover are well made.I'm concerned about durability with 5 cats and a sensory seeking 6 year old, so I'll update later if the combo proves to be too much.

I was skeptical at first because of what I thought was a high price. However, after inflating this cute purple hedgehog I think the price is fair for the excellent quality of this item. All the materials and construction are solid and very well done. The fabric is plush and soft, and the inflatable (basically a small air mattress) is heavy duty. It took "too long" to pump up with the included pump according to my impatient children, so we switched to our electric air pump. The electric pump inflated it in less than a minute. I like that it's so easy to inflate, deflate, store, and clean. If gently used for lounging it should last a long time, but just incase 2 patches are included. The gripper bottom is nice, too. My 2-year-old was very impressed, and kept saying, "Wow!" My 9-year-old fits comfortably on it, and even my 12-year-old found it comfortable. I couldn't find anything that provide a weight limit. It would definitely make an awesome gift for toddler to tween. *It's not BPA free.
