Got me out of the mud once and immediately started to fall apart. The metal wire is frayed in some areas and I had to replace a retaining clip for one of the hooks in order to get a second use out of it. Good to have in case of emergency, but I suggest you learn how to use it beforehand.

I had a few fence posts that were leaning a bit too much, but the fence was still good. I bought this to pull the posts back into place and it did it with zero effort. Now I use it for other miscellaneous jobs and it works amazing. I even used it to straighten a bend radiator core on a car and it was awesome. Well worth it.

Extended the wire, secured the winch and when we just started to get tension on the wire the winch broke. On inspection the wire was secured in the spool with hot glue.

At my age I’m not lifting deer any longer. Found this to winch the deer or other loads into my truck. Good quality.Note: a little oil on the mechanism helps it work better!

I got my ZTR tractor stuck in the sand next to my carport and I mean stuck. Called a neighbor and had him come over with his lawn tractor and it wouldn't budge. I decided that I needed something I could anchor that had pulling strength so I decided on a come along. I looked at all of them and decided on the Torin Big Red 4 ton. I also got a 10' tow strap. I it to a 4x4 fence post and the tractor and it pulled the tractor out with ease. The Big Red is well made and very easy to use. I highly recommend it.

I am a vanlifer with 10KLB van; I bought this as a precaution should I ever get stuck and need just a little help getting myself out of a jam. I have seen other vanlifers do the same; just attach to a tree/boulder, attach to the tow hook under the van and just tighten the come-along to nudge the van an inch forward or back and then throttle out of the predicament. I have yet to use it for that purpose (thankful for that!), however I used it to pull tight the snow shelter over my van and it was very handy. Works very well, surprising for the price.

First thing when I spooled out the cable, the end of the cable came out of the spool. After reinserting the cable and putting some tension on the load, some part of the cable caught on the spool guide and the basket, deforming both. I could not release the load, as it was critical, so by the time the job was finished, the spool guide as destroyed. It's not worth the trouble to return it, with the shipping cost involved, so I will try and rebuild it as best I can.
