Just another cheap piece of junk from China. Arrived with all the cheap, inferior plastic parts (which were numerous) broken. Decided to return it in leu of replacing it with an identical poorly designed, inferiorly constructed twin. Don't waste your money on this junk, instead save it for purchasing a quality American product.

Power coated steel, although they use mild steel zinc coated fasteners to mount the pump, so that will rust… but easy to swap out if it is an issue. The pump is only approved for water based solvent, but that is typical for any lower cost unit.

I’ve needed a parts washer for smallish parts for a while now. This fits easily on a bench top and doesn’t take up much space. It’s not fancy, and I’m sure the paint or powder coating will wear off sooner rather than later. It’s probably not meant for heavy daily use, but it fits my needs exactly. I added a flow thru brush, and couldn’t ask for more. If you need a bench top parts washer for degreasing something about the size of a 4 barrel carb, this would work.

Great for small parts and easy to tuck away when not in use. Recommend getting the scrub wand as well for hard to reach areas.

A parts cleaner is something I've always had a need for from time to time; but never actually had. My experience with parts cleaners, before buying this one, had only been with the larger commercial type cleaners. Over the years I have considered buying one but didn't need one often enough to warrant dedicating the space to a large standalone unit.A few months ago I bought a Ford Bronco, a classic, and needed to rebuild the transmission; so I needed a good way to clean all the parts before putting it back together. I debated on just using a bucket; but, I'm glad I went ahead and bought this instead. It's lightweight and smallish, so I was able to set it up on one of the tables in the shop area of my garage without it getting in the way of anything else. It was easy to setup and for the most part seems to be well made. So far, I have had no problems with it and it works very well. However, it is not perfect. First of all, the filter screen that is supposed to attach to the pump, is oversized and does not fit; so it doesn't stay on the pump like it is supposed to. Instead, it falls off and lays on the bottom of the pan. Second, and the only other complaint I have, is that it needs a variable speed or slower pump. The solvent is pumped way too fast for such a small container, so you have to be real careful where you place your parts and the solvent stream; otherwise, you'll end up with a big mess in the floor, on the walls, on you, etc... But you learn to deal with that pretty quickly. It would be nice if you could slow it down to keep it from splattering all over the place. But, a careful person can make it work.Oh, there is one more thing that I almost forgot to mention. The work platform (flat piece of painted metal with drain holes where you place the parts while cleaning them) is sometimes a little hard to get in and out of place. Mine binds up on the pump nozzle and sometimes in other areas. It's not that it's overly hard to work out and get into position but it could be easier if it were a better fit. Luckily, once positioned, you probably won't be removing it very often.I also have one suggestion. It would be nice if the unit had a drain plug, but only if it is placed in a way that you can drain the solvent off the top while leaving the residual grit and grime in the bottom of the pan where it settles. I had to change my solvent in the middle of my transmission rebuild and ended up bailing the solvent out of the pan with a cutoff water bottle. I was able to get almost all of the solvent out (so that it could be reused) while not disturbing the settled grime. I then washed the pan and refilled it with clean solvent to finish my rebuild. You could use the pump to get a lot of the solvent out but you would probably need to attach a hose to the output hose of the cleaner or you'd have to be very careful to not get solvent all over the place. Also, it's light enough to pick up the cleaner and pour the solvent out but I think that would probably stir up the sediment in the process. Anyway, it's just a suggestion. I might buy and install my own drain plug in the future. This little cleaner worked great for me in my work on my transmission and I'm sure I'll get a lot more use out of it over the coming years.
