3mil thick may not sound huge, but it’s actually 50% thicker than other bags you’ve seen today. And it’s this same crystal-like plastic that stops these sleeves from sticking together as you try to remove comics from the crate or box.

I love these for so many reasons!They're thick enough that I've stopped using boards in my comic book bags. Some people won't want to go that route, but it works for me.No tape! The flaps are cut at an angle that makes it easy to just to tuck them into the bag. The weight of the material is just right for folding and creasing, and the fold keeps, so no tape is needed whether you tuck the flaps inside or out.I've bought a dozen or more packages of these, and I haven't had a bad bag that split or anything yet.

Writing this a long-time collector who frequently likes to rebag his comics. I'll start by saying I purchased 100 ct of the bags and boards on a prime day sale for $25. I think that's a reasonable price for these. But normal asking price is $32 for the combo pack and despite everyone saying that this costs less than other bags and boards, I would disagree. If you shop around, you can easily find other companies selling 100 bags and boards for less. I'm also struggling with the fact that I can't seem to purchase just the bags which is odd. I tend to reuse backboards but bags I swap out frequently and it seems like buying bags alone is not an option right now. Also want to mention that a 50-count bag and board combo is only 1 dollar less than a 100-count which makes no sense. All in all, the company needs to do a better job with the pricing. THAT BEING SAID...I do love the bags which is why I still give it 5 stars. At first, I didn't know if I liked them as they are totally different from what I'm used to. They're thicker and a bit wider than typical current/modern bags it seems. But after bagging a few comics I felt like these are nice because I may never need to replace them. Most bags get all wrinkly over time but I don't see that happening with these. The boards I felt were just okay. They feel thinner and flimsier ironically than other boards I've purchased. All in all, these are my current favorite bags. I just wish I could buy them on their own (without the boards) and hoping the pricing gets straightened out on Amazon.

Overall quality is great. The plastic is thicker than the other brands I'm used to, but not as wide so thicker comics are a bit of a squeeze. But I trust that the comics will be protected.I've purchased these twice now. I usually get bags and boards from my comic shop when buying the comic, but I like having a supply on hand: sometimes the bags rip, some stores place stickers on their bags, or sell older comics in old well-used crusty bags, etc. So I want to keep a small supply ready if needed. I bought this product few years ago and was happy it, but once I used that pack I made the mistake of ordering from a different but more well-known brand. Those boards were warped and the bags tore more easily at the seams. So, I decided to reorder this brand and am happy with the first few bags/boards I've used.

My local comic shop has had an issue with their supply of comic bags for a few months now and have not been able to provide them in this time. Like to keep my comics protected and couldn't be happier with how these bags are, they fit perfectly for current sized comics and have a nice sturdy feel to them. Very good value for money.

The bags are durable and have a nice taper to the top that allows tucking them in without using tape, if that's something you'd want. The boards are meant to fit the bags, but are slightly taller than necessary. This lines up to where the taper of the bag starts, so it could also be the intention.The cost of getting them so cheap is the lack of quality control. The boards arrived with a nice bow to them and edges that clearly showed they were taken from perforated sheets. The bag they came in was opened, so it's quite possible someone had "borrowed" a few before arrival. The bags often had a lip to the top that created a bump in the tape. This wasn't so drastic that it prevented sealing them, but enough that it made an otherwise nice bag look cheap.Overall, they are good in a bind. They are cheap and available. Having since tried the Zero Issue set and compared, I would not order these again in the future. I will still use them on "less important" books, but will be using something else for the ones I really need to protect.
