I absolutely love this cover. We haven’t had any snow yet and but the freezing temperatures have been forming ice sheets on our cars, this cover has spared me the need to scrape anything. Makes my morning commute to work much more pleasant. I bought one for each of my family members to use on their cars.

Concept is nice but that’s it. Used it twice and it’s falling apart. The mirror covers both ripped in the same place of the stitching making them useless. The windshield cover froze to my car and took a small piece of paint off. I am not putting this back on my car. Material is not intended for cold weather. Please save yours from this.

I ordered this for our 2010 Chrysler Town & Country, which sits outside year-round. Seeing as we live in Minnesota, it seemed worthwhile despite the lack of what I would consider true Minnesota winter weather in recent years. Considering what you get for the money (currently just under $20 for Cyber Monday), even if the weather is mild again, it's hard to go wrong. The quality of the material used for the covers seems adequate for the price. Nothing about it stands out as particularly high quality, but nothing feels overly cheap either. That said, ours came with a gap in the seam of one of the mirror covers. It’s just a stitching issue, and I wouldn’t assume it’s a problem most people will encounter, but it’s worth mentioning nonetheless. As far as coverage goes, the width is adequate for our van, but the length is a few inches short of full coverage. This was a bummer, as it leaves the wipers exposed. However, I didn’t measure our windshield before ordering, so that’s on me. I mention this in case you’re considering ordering this for a similar year, make, or model. Do your due diligence and be sure to measure before ordering.Using it is easy enough. Just shut the sides into your door jambs, strap the bottom to your rims, and you’re good to go. It takes only a minute or two and is certainly better than scraping. However, I’d caution against putting this on a wet windshield. It hasn’t been cold enough yet for me to confirm this, but I suspect that if the weather is wet or snowy and you put it on while your vehicle is still warm, you might have an issue with it freezing to your windshield as the vehicle cools. Obviously, you could let your car warm up to release it if this happens, but if you’re in a hurry, it may be better to scrape your windshield instead. All in all, I think it’s a good product for the price. I probably wouldn’t recommend it at full price, but for $20–$30, I think it’s a worthwhile investment—assuming it fits your vehicle properly. I also think it would make a stellar gift for anyone forced to park outside in climates like ours.

I got this windshield cover for my camper van, which is a bit of a mess right now. But, in the location where we have it parked (in front of our house), leaves tend to fall into the gap in front of the windshield, and I was worried they would rot in there and cause trouble. So, I decided to get this for everyday protection from those leaves! We also tend to take the camper van snowboarding, so I'm excited to try it for that purpose. So far so good! We cleaned the windshield off and placed this cover on the van (high roof Ram Promaster), and it fits just fine. The rear view window protectors don't fit on a Promaster, in case anyone is wondering. But, the windshield cover fits just in the right spot to protect that gap in front of the windshield, so I'm very happy so far. Would definitely recommend. It also came with a snow/ice brush/scraper, so that was a pleasant surprise for me!
