I've slept on this about 7 nights so far and it works great, worth the money. Slept on rocky ground and no problem. A few nights were 40 degree temps and with a Big Agnes 0 bag stayed very warm. Easy to inflate - key is don't inflate too much. Leave a little cushion room. Does fit perfect when paired with Big Agnes down sleeping bag that has no insulation on the bottom.

I am a recent owner of the Big Agnes double sleeping bag. One of the great features are twin sleeves to hold pillows in place. I am thrilled with the sleeping bag, so went back and ordered pillows from Big Agnes. They are wonderful and fit perfectly. The combo along with a Big Agnes pad that is 4" thick is way beyond comfortable!

Great pad. Fits into the big Agnes tall sleeping bags exactly as advertised. Used at a recent camp with -12c to -20c overnight. Slept well with a fleece pj set and touque. I recommend the Big Agnes products.

It’s very lightweight and works great for camping. Definitely holds the air and it’s pretty comfortable for a blowup pillow. It also is very compact which allows me to store more in a smaller space.

This sleeping had is definitely worth the money! You can't beat a good nights sleep in the backcountry. I've used this pad several times this past year and tested it thoroughly . From sleeping on roots, weird angles, and rocks, I can tell you that you can barely feel anything underneath. It is also very warm, I've never felt a cold spot on my back in the night like other sleeping pads during the 3-seasons. The extra width of the sleeping pad also helps with not feeling squished or rolling off in the middle of the night. I'm a side sleeper and I find that this pad is wide enough for me to comfortably side sleep. It also packs down to about the size of a nalgene, definitely not an ultralight piece of gear, but the insulated, extra width, and feel of the pad itself is worth its weight in a backpack. I do find that it is not the a super quiet sleeping pad, with a little crinkling sound when moving, but nothing more than standard sleeping pads. The softer texture helps with mitigating any noise but there is still noise generated from moving on the pad. The pad also feels soft when directly on contact with the skin, so that's a plus. One problem I did have towards the end of the season were holes on the top of the sleeping pad. I slept on the pad for about 25 days this summer without any holes being made in the pad. It started to deflate on my in the middle of the night on night 3 of a 5 night canoe trip in late September. When deflated a bit, it was more uncomfortable but did not feel cold when waking up. I have yet to try patching it with the included patch kit, but I felt that I got many good sleeps this season using this pad. I just wish it was more durable and lasted a bit longer before needing a patch, that's why it's getting 4 stars instead of 5.

So I tried both Rapide SL (25x78) and Boundary Deluxe (30x78) and I would like to give some feedback. Basically I returned Boundrary Deluxe for 2 reasons:1. Rapide SL is higher which lets me to decrease it's firmness without being too close to the ground which I find as a Comfort feature.2. Rapide SL is warmer. Even though this is mentioned on the website, in reality, it feels much warmer. It needs less time to warm up and I feel the warmth right after I lay down on it. To sum up, I think Rapide SL is the real deluxe pad. The material which is used in Boundary Delux has less value for me in terms of comfort than the height and warmth of the pad. Plus Rapide SL 40 inch wide weights less than 30 inch Boundary Deluxe. I am surprised that you decided to skip on 30 wide version of Rapide SL.

Thoroughly disappointed with this mat. Yes, it is quiet and comfortable, but that means nothing when you are freezing cold! I've had many different brands of outdoor gear and have lots of experience winter camping, and I am PISSED that big agnes would mislead their customers like this. My old exped r4 mat kept my always cold spouse toasty warm directly on the ground while I (who is always warm) froze on this supposedly r5 mat. And YES, it was heat loss through the mat, as I began to finally warm up when I put my ground mat under it. Don't waste your money on this big agnes crap, buy the exped.

I have had big Angus mattress pads for over 20 years but this one is the best I’ve ever had. I like the mattress being a little bit bigger so I get it 72 x 25 that extra little bit of width is very nice to have. It backs down very small for backpacking. I take different trips in the wilderness about 12 to 16 Times a year I’ve had these mattresses for about two years now and they are so good I have bought three of them. The big trick I’ve learned about keeping them for a lifetime is making a pillowcase out of a sheet that the whole mattress slides into. That stops the zipper from your sleeping bag from wearing pinholes in your mattress when you move around at night. It is the most comfortable mattress and warm in cold temperatures I’ve have ever had. it may seem expensive but it is well worth it when you’re out camping in the wilderness and do you want to have a very good sleep and be warm.

Packs incredibly small! Can fit inside your pocket of your pants. Slept 7 nights in Montana and stayed warm and comfortable all night. Only issue is my sleeping bag material was extremely slick against the pillow. Other than that 5/5
