This is a beautiful piece of metalwork. Substantial brass and well polished. It snuffs candles well. I took a star off because of the short handle.

Quality seems good. Has nice weight. Love the way the snuffer bell swings--reminds me of opera glasses. The details are a nice subtle touch. I like that the handle is very short and takes up little space on my mantle. It's pretty enough to have out.

La description du produit précise qu'il mesure 17,1 cm de long. Le produit reçu n'en mesure que 13. C'est pratiquement un jouet. C'est destiné à éteindre des chandelles sans trop s'en approcher. À 13 cm, ça va nécessiter un escabeau pour se rendre au chandelier. De plus, lors de la livraison, le colis a été laissé à la porte alors que j'étais présent. Il y avait de forts vents et j'ai été chanceux de retrouver mon colis dans une flaque d'eau au milieu de notre entrée.
