in low light its impossible to distinguish any colour on the cards. The difference between 'black' and 'red' suits is a sort of reflective purple which just looks the same in low light. We quite liked it as something to add a bit more stress to the card game :)

Very pretty and sturdy cards. My friends card deck was a wreck since they play every day. I replaced their deck with these pretty cards and they were very happy. Time will tell how they hold up.

The cards are quality and stylish. It can be difficult, at certain angles and in certain light to make out the diamonds and hearts because of the gold foil. We did expect them to be a bit more resistant to water, one card did get stained from moisture. Other than that, no complaints. These are a good set of cards from a reliable brand.

Just a beautiful deck of cards! Gold foil on the back of every card. Gold foil on the front of high value cards. I got it as a gift for a friend who collects cards and she really loved it.
