My kids have a habit of losing their pencils at an alarming rate. I like to restock them with mechanical pencils that are affordable and write smoothly. I've been very happy with this value pack of BIC pencils. It comes in an assortment of colors so that each kid can have their own colour. I buy a few packs at a time so that my kids can take as needed.
