I hate to say I'm a bit of a pen snob, but I guess I am. I used the original (blue and white split body pen) 4-color pen through 4 years of engineering school for some snazzy notes, despite the older pens' ink giving me some grief. I saw BIC offered an updated version, and had to give them a try of course.These new pens? OH MY LANTA. Absolute heaven!! Compared to the original pen, this ink is so silky smooth, the pen glides across the page, the ink colors are more vivid (especially red and green), and I like that the pen body is a bit more stylish/professional with 2-tone blue.Super happy I purchased, this new version. Nice price for (3) 4-color pens (equiv to 12 "individual pens")

I got these pens for my Bible study group. The pens have a gel-like ink. Unlike regular gel, they do not bleed through the pages, which is a huge plus for Bible study. The 4 colors are dark (or bright) and easy to read. One thing I noticed as I was taking notes in my notebook: The ink does tend to have those tiny gloppy dots as I write. It's not a big deal, but it is enough to be distracting, so I took off a star. All in all, these are great pens and it is wonderful to have 4 good colors in one barrel.

As a left handed person, I never get a nice ink that dries instantly while I write. Instead I usually get an ink stamp situation on the end of my hand, which makes it embarrassing to write. This pen ink is a game changer!This ink is EXCELLENT for left and right handed people!!! Highly recommend it. Very smooth to write with and very smooth writing. The ink doesn't have any blops or scratches in it. Perfectly smooth ink lines. Fabulous ink! Highly recommend this pen set to everyone.

I am a nurse and I use this pen a lot. The quality is great. It lasts longer than the typical 4 color pen. It writes smoothly. I highly recommend it.

I was hoping for an improvement over the traditional model. Nice bright color, but no improvement in writing. Depending on the cost difference, I may stick with the old models.Not for Bible notes… will bleed through when underlining!!! The traditional is better..

Does not write as smooth as advertised. It leaves blotches and ink dots so it stains your hands when writing and smudges easily. I don’t like that especially for legal documents.

So BIC, you got me this time. Well earned considering I’m always looking for the deal and searching for the only pen I ever write with. Yes, I only write with four color medium point pens. Just like any dude that wears an outfit, we are limited and what we can change out for variation, I’m grateful that Big has been creative and finding ergonomic solutions for the finger, pallets For the pen itself and also for the actual ink coming out.When I saw this product with its extra smooth writing capability, I got way too excited and purchased a box of 12. I’ve been trusted this product for so many years now that I didn’t even second-guess and taking some of the pens out and sharing them with my coworkers. After doing this, I finally took one for myself and Thankfully wrote and kept writing because it was such a pleasant feeling to have whatever this gel like ink, but still looks like a pen glide out ever so smoothly.If you’re looking to add your collection or physic the first Bic Pen you’ve ever written with, you won’t be disappointed. The pen delivers, the design looks really sexy, and I will not be buying another box or another pen until the price goes down.I really should look into therapy. I think I have about 125 Bic pens in line waiting for me to use. Lolol5 STARS BIC. Take all my money!!!!
