I was not getting enough pressure to force the water up the funnel and through the grounds. I realized that the old funnel had misshaped edges and warps (see Picture). This new funnel basket fixed the problem. Delivery was faster than expected too. Ahh.

I bought this after an after-market version failed because it was a tad too small in diameter and depth. It's robust and sits perfectly in my 9cup Bialetti.

Fits perfectly which is extremely important for the moka maker to function properly. We've used the Bialetti for years and the biggest issue with it for us is cleaning the filter without tapping it against trash can to throw away used coffee. The thin aluminum will slightly dent at rim making so as to prevent a good seal. We usually have to replace the filter every couple of years. Love the coffee! Amazon's no name brand works well too and much cheaper.
