- Adjustable Neck: Height Adjustment lets you customize the dress form to your height in a snap.
Handy tips:
- keep the plastic bag provided to cover the dress form and help eliminate dust.
- For form-fitting dresses, always leave a vertical seam partly open, and remove from finish sewing the seam after removing the dress from the form.
- To close the dress form, use the following sequence: waist height adjustment, neck dial, bust dials, waist dials, and hip dials.
Adjusting Body Sizes:
- Using the desired body measurements, begin with the bust measurements.
- With one hand hold the body form and with the other hand compress the upper white and lower red indicator together located on the front dial marked “AB”.
- Turn clockwise until the red indicator lines up with the bust measurement. Release dial.
- Follow by adjusting waist size(AW) and hip measurement(AH).
- Programme sizes on the back panels from top to bottom and then two sides from top to bottom.
How to adjust waist length?
- To length the torso/waist, notice a black plastic toothed collar covering the white center pole located under the inside skirt of the form.
- Turn the black collar slightly to the left to disengage retainer teeth, pull down until the desired length is obtained, and twist the collar to the right to re-engage the teeth.
- To return to the original height, simply reverse the preceding stage.
Personalising Figures:
To personalise for larger or smaller bust cups or for narrower or wider backs, adjust the four bust dials(AB) to compensate so that their sum total divided by four equals the total bust size.
Example:
(Front 90cm+Side 88cm+Back 94cm)/4 dials=360/4=90cm
Hip measurements may also be customized by adjusting hip dials(AH)
Neck Adjustment:
Make neck size adjustments after having adjusted body sizes. To adjust, depress and turn the neck dial. Check collar size with a flexible tape measure.
Setting the hemline gauge:
- With the hem gauge bar in the horizontal position, disengage the center collar retaining clip.
- Slide the collar up or down until the top of the collar lines up with the required height.
- Engage the center collar retaining clip.
- For full or flared hemlines, place the dress on the dress form inside out or turn the hem up to face.

This is a gift so I didn't physically see it, but my granddaughter loves it and it's the perfect size for a 12 year old to design on.

Love this! I got the light pink one and it looks fantastic. It was pretty easy to put together, and the XL size expands to size 20. I have some used clothing to sell, and this is going to make them look so much better than hanging them on a hanger or over a bed or couch. I also love to sew, and this is a great way to make sure things are being made to fit.

If you're looking for a sewing mannequin on a budget, not that such a thing exists, then this will work for you. Be sure to check the sizing chart and get one that can be adjusted to your size! This can be tricky because the mannequin is measured in metric units and I'm American so I had to convert my body measurements. Doing that got me a mannequin that BARELY works for me! There are a couple settings that I have as low as they go and I would like to go just a tiny bit smaller but it won't let me and if I were to get the next smaller mannequin, I'd have to max out some of the settings and my bust still wouldn't quite fit... Maybe I just have a body shape that hovers on the line of 2 different-sized mannequins, but I also think that a higher quality mannequin would allow for a better fit. Still, I definitely recommend this mannequin for hobbyists and beginners.

It took me a long time to finally find a 4+ star reviewed adjustable mannequin dress form. This mannequin came well packaged and easy to assemble. Directions were a little off, but assembly and adjustability was simple to figure out. As a plus, this item was on sale! I highly recommend this dress form.
