These bells are hanging on an upright antique sled in my entryway . I went looking at the antique stores for a set of antique bells like these but to my dismay found none. I was watching David Muir on the 6:30 newsAnd his clip on Made in America products started talking about BELLS. Well without hesitation I ordered a set.The thickness of the leather , shininess of the bells and the sound sure made my day. These bells will be an heirloom for my granddaughter. So happy !

The song "Jingle Bells" originally was not a Christmas carol. It was written for Thanksgiving, and it's a song about traffic safety. "Jingle" is a verb, and the song asks the bells to jingle so that people will get out of the way and let the horses pass. Anyway, these bells are wonderful. Their sound is full of hope, happiness, and anticipation. Instead of hanging them from a door knob, I hang them on my belt when I play Santa. Their jingle makes me happy, and the kids hear them right before I make my entrance.
