I had to purchase this leash along with the BBB flight suit. I really just wanted a leash to attach to the ring on multiple flight suits, and this is one of only a few available through amazon. I didn't want the weight of a stainless steel cord, so this was my compromise. It is pretty light for the most part and my bird didn't seem bothered by it once it was attached. As I said on the flight suit review, I really wish I didn't have to purchase this separately, or it would've been nice to discount the leash if you also buy the flight suit.

I have no complaints! The size is perfect and it clips on nicely. I’ve attached two pictures so that you can see how it attaches from the back of the flyper itself as there is an attachment there to hook it onto. Not too easy to see, but just so you get an idea.

Springy so a startled bird doesn't hurt itself, short enough to have control in situations where the bird needs to stay close to stay safe. Easy clip on/clip off for when the bird can wander

This was exactly what I was looking for. I can attach it to my green cheeked conure's flight suit and keeps her safe with me during outside adventures.

Works great. My pigeon broke my last leash granted it was cheap and came with a poorly made body suit in the past. This new leash has good elasticity so when he decides to fly off it holds him in place in the air with out the string yanking him due to no elasticity causing a crash land. He is now able to actually fly with the leash and land safely with out me freaking out. My pigeon and I are happy customers. My pigeon wings are not cut and he has flown off a few times which I don’t mind. He comes back but it’s the hawks I worry about so instead I take him out for a long walk every day to keep him happy.

This is a well thought out design. I feel comfortable knowing that even if my birds get spooked and fly off my shoulder, they won't hurt themselves given the "bundgie" feature.
