Worked nicely. The 2019 Tiguan I bot this pump for does not have a fill port so pumping it into the pan from below is essential. With the engine running, car on 4 jack stands, perfectly level, using VCDS, I waited until the trans temp was > 35C. The Tiguan required an ATF-105 adapter which this kit had. I checked the pump tank before use for manufacturing debris but found none. Subsequently, I used the pump on my 2015 Golf and it worked perfectly. I don't normally advocate products but for the VWs in the family, this pump works great.

Bought this to replace the transmission fluid in a Volkswagen. Due to the 3 liter capacity I had to refill the pump one time during the process but the shut-off valve worked great to allow you to add more fluid to the tank without it leaking from the transmission. I would have liked a way to connect this pump to my compressor to pressurize it (vs having to use the manual hand pump) but for the price (~$40) this was hard to beat. There is a nice assortment of adapters for various makes/models so ensure this kit includes the one you need before purchasing.

Had just used this pump for transmission project. I was very impressed with its efficiency, and compatibility. Has plenty of easy connect adapters with a smooth operation. Making it a bargain for itsmarket. If you doing home DIY projects and don't need a commercial pump this is a must have.

I have been using a Harbor Freight manual transfer pump for some time and while it works, it’s clunky and I have to be cautious to make sure I don’t bump the jug and spill trans fluid everywhere. I wanted a pump that I can both – extract and fill the transmission. The title has “extractor” in it and I’m pretty sure to extract is to remove, but it doesn’t.I couldn’t see a way where I could use this pump to EXTRACT the old fluid from the pan so I had to still use the HF pump to remove it, then I was able to use this pump to add fresh fluid.I thought the pump would serve both purposes but it only serves one, hence the reduction of one star. If the pump does in fact EXTRACT, then I will change the rating to 5 stars as it then does what the title indicates but even the instructions indicate (in step 3) to dispense fresh fluid after the pan has been drained.

The suction tube on the inside is too short to dispense whatever product you are using. It's already a small container, then you end up with a half quart in the bottom you can't use. The container itself has low points (the feet) that you could get all your product out. It's an easy fix just can't believe someone would sell a product they obviously know is an issue.

This is a well-made pump made of thick plastic where everything came conveniently pre-assembled and on a quick connect. It even has a plastic wrench to help open/tighten the lid on the fill/empty port. My only issue with this pump is that it is a little slow and holds slightly less than the advertised 3.0 liters. There are tons of attachments included, I used the ATF102 attachment (universal hook) for a 10L80 transmission filling through the rear driver fill plug. The pump sticker states a max operating pressure of 40 psi and recommends 10 to 30 psi as the operating range. I pumped to 30 psi, slid under the vehicle to open valve, but it only dispensed about 500mL before the pressure bled out.If you pump with the valve left open (like how your hand soap pump works), it is more convient but it leaves about 600 mL before it is unable to push the rest of the fluid out of the container. You can get the rest of it out if needed by closing the dispensing valve, pumping up to 30 psi (which takes around a 1 minute or 2), opening it again to release the pressure, and repeating as needed. This can take a good while to get all of the fluid out of the pump. The pump is manual operating only, there's no pneumatic option to use with an air compressor which would make this fill pump much more convenient and fill faster. At $45 this is a fair price. I recommend they first upgrade the size as only the smallest cars will have transmissions that need less than 3.0 liters to fill and then add pneumatic option after to improve the product.
