Like having a brand new, better salt lamp. Love the fader switch. Also comes with 2 bulbs. Removed the very hard tongs from the base ( a brilliant suggestion by another purchaser ) so that when it's time to replace the bulb it can be done easily. Not an issue, as the lamp is heavy enough to stay firmly in place on the base.

It worked well, and had a handy on off switch. Unfortunately, the lamp socket was too large for my salt lamp.

I needed a replacement cord for my salt lamp after my original cord shorted out. I did have to snap off one of the prongs to get a good fit but otherwise exactly what I needed. The 2 bulbs it comes with are a bonus as well. Saves purchasing an entire new lamp.

The space didn’t even fit my salt lamp so I bought it for nothing. Huge bummer because the shipping got sent to another house nearby and they were on vacation. Just got it today. Doesn’t fit at all. Bust. There is zero flexibility in this plastic, and it is not able to be inserted into the salt lamp. Lame product.

I had bought 2 salt foot domes a month apart from a local business. I gave the first salt dome to my daughter which had this type of bulb holder and then I purchased another salt dome that unfortunately now came with a bulb holder with just the wire wings. Last week I had my dome sitting on a braided place mat for ease of moving across the floor. I started to smell burning. The wire wing bulb holder had become dislodged from the channel and the bulb was in contact with the place mat and was beginning burn a hole in the place mat. I shudder to think what would have happened had I left the dome on unsupervised.I found this bulb holder on Amazon and ordered it to replace the very unsafe bulb holder with the wire wings. It fits, is more stable, and has the plastic base that closes off the hole between the dome and the floor. It is too soon to comment on the quality as I haven't had it long enough, but it seems to be of the same quality of the first bulb holder that was in my first salt foot dome.

My original lamp socket/cord failed on my (the dimmer burned out) so this was my 2nd attempt at a replacement. This has been working well since I installed it and it fits very snug so I don't expect it to move around or fall out of the lamp. A very solid product and seems to be built well.
